This newly renovated cottage style getaway boasts full kitchen, new appliances and stylishly appointed finishes. Unwind in the sunroom after a day at the beach, which offers queen pull out sofa. Front living room has TV and gas fireplace. First floor offers a master bedroom with private bath. Second bedroom is across the hall from full bath. Upstairs, a cozy retreat with 4 twin beds. A wonderful feature for our home is it's close proximity to the Luxurious 'Wequassett Inn and Golf Resort'. Enjoy Casual dining poolside or a cocktail at the Outer Bar and Grill. Make Reservations at 'Twenty-eight Atlantic' for the finest dining experience in Chatham. This resort is within a 2 mile drive from the property. Don't Miss a Romantic night of Jazz and first class performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Outdoor Veranda, a must do while you are here!

Golf: Cranberry Golf course and Captains are the two closest to house approximately 6 miles away. Blue Rock is approximately 20 miles from house.

Other Activities: Trampolines and Bumper Boats in Harwichport / rte 28 . Close to the Wequassett Inn. 1/5 miles to Pleasant Bay / Boating lessons for kids daily.

What a great vacation!

This was my 1st time renting a house and after this I will never go back to a hotel if I can help it. This property was fantastic, the owner was there to greet my family and offered numerous recomendations for my visit. I look forward to next year and hope I can come back in the future. Beautiful, Comfortable home for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at the Golden Cottage! The house was immaculately clean upon our arrival, and the layout and decor was perfect. There is plenty of room for 8 people, and plenty of seating for meals both indoors and out. This cottage has been recently renovated, so the kitchen and floors were in excellent condition. The very clean and pleasant basement has a pool table and dart board which was great for rainy afternoons! And the outdoor shower was a big hit after days at the beach.

The owner was quick to respond to questions, and is personable and helpful.

The only things I would suggest for improving this cottage would be:
1) adding a little more storage in the kitchen--it was difficult to find a place to store food for the week.
2) fixing the internet connection. The connection was working, but it appeared that the internet provider wanted us to sign up as a new user (this should have been done by the owner of the cottage) to establish a name and a password for the connection.

The location of the cottage is ideal--just a few minutes from both downtown Harwich and Chatham. Also, it is very close to Route 6, which is the main thoroughfare for Cape Cod.

Again, we had a wonderful time! Thank you for allowing us to stay at the Golden Cottage. We will recommend this to anyone who asks!!!
