Description of the Glen Lake vacation cottage rental
Charming and relaxing cottage in Shady Shores Resort. Located between Glen Arbor and Empire on Little Glen Lake; Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There's always something fun to do here: Lake Michigan beaches, boating, canoing, kayaking, hiking, dune climbing, biking, golf, wineries, art galleries, shopping and fine dining. The cottage is surrounded by 3 acres of grassy, shaded common area. Easy access to Little Glen Lake with a large dock for relaxing in the sun. Little Glen Lake is shallow and warm, great for swimming and boating.

In the heart of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, on Little Glen Lake, between the towns of Glen Arbor and Empire (about 4 miles). Close to Lake Michigan beaches, canoing on the Crystal River. Visit Fishtown in LEland and lunch at the Cove Restaurant. Drive to the top of the Lelanau Peninsula and tour the historic lighthouse. Enjoy a wine tasting tour at more than 14 wineries. Hike at Empire Bluff, Alligator Hill, Windy Moraine, just to name a few. Visit the lighthouses in the area, Point Betsie Light, South Manitou Island Lighthouse, Grand Traverse Lighthouse...and enjoy a festival, Manitou Music Festival, National Cherry Festival, Traverse City Film Festival.
