Location, location, location! Enjoy our beach home in a sought-after ocean block in peaceful South Bethany. Spectacular location, steps to the sand & water. Our open and spacious floor plan is sunny and light-filled and sleeps 8-9. The 1st floor includes a two-story living area, dining area, and fully-stocked kitchen with contemporary Mexican tile floors. The two carpeted bedrooms (1 queen & 2 twin beds) share a full bath with soaking tub & shower. The 2nd level offers a loft for sleeping (pull out couch) or to use as a reading or play area, stocked with books and toys for the kids. It also features a large master bedroom and master bath. The huge deck includes patio seating & charcoal grill, and best of all, sand and ocean views.

Great place to stay at the beach!

My family and I have stayed here several times and we coming back because we love it! The house is clean and comfortable. It is steps to the beach and a very short drive to Bethany boardwalk and activities. It is a short drive to Rehoboth if you need more to do. The beach house has all the comforts of home: cable tv, dvd player, wi-fi for computer access and everything you need to cook and grill. There are beach chairs and sand toys for community use, a grill and a great big deck that has a wonderful ocean view. Our two young kids feel right at home here with toys to play with a family friendly house. There is plenty of sleeping rooms and lots of room for hanging out, playing games and entertaining. The house has beautiful natural light, great views of the ocean is in a nice little beach neighborhood. The immediate neighborhood is great for kids to ride bikes, take walks or stroll younger kids. I would highly reccomend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing enjoyable time at the beach!

My family stayed here the summer of 2008. While the house was close to the beach, it was not in very clean condition and the kitchen was very disorganized with old pots and pans stuffed in cabinets.

On another note, after 30 days from our departure we did not get our deposit back as was stated in the contract. After many emails and unreturned phone calls to the number listed, we finally got our deposit back well after the 30 days and no contact from the owner.

One owner we did speak with told us it was not her thing to do and would contact the second owner. She never called back.

I thought others should know about our disappointing experience.

We've stayed at this house several times and love it. It is very close to the beach as they say (we even got foam on the porch during one stormy weekend), and the small road is really more like a big path so it's not loud or unsafe. It was perfect with small kids because you could go back and forth to the beach easily and even just dash back for bathrroom breaks. There are plenty of activities in easy driving distance for any rainy days and the beach itself goes on for quite aways down to some undeveloped dunes. The house is airy and bright and the outdoor shower is a treat.
