The Island Club offers recreation events during the summer and peak weeks for families and children.
Enjoy live children’s shows and face painting in Harbor Town, Shelter Cove Pavillion, South Beach Marina and Coligy Plaza during the summer months. And don’t miss the magnificent fireworks display at Shelter Cove. Jarvis Park on the north end of the Island has fishing lagoons, covered picnic tables, a paved walking path, and you might even see one of the islands many alligators enjoying a sunbath. There are nature trails and bike paths throughout all of Hilton Head and it’s public parks. The Island Recreation Center also offers soccer fields, basketball hoops, a swimming pool and several other activities all year round!
