We loved our stay in Rick's private cottage. Rick greeted us upon our arrival, and was very accommodating. The cottage is immaculately clean, quite, and has a very comfortable bed. He has provided everything you will need for your stay in the cottage, and all the accessories needed at the beach. Kihei is a great location, and close to many beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. This cottage was much better than staying in any fancy resort. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Quiet and clean cottage in good location

We enjoyed our stay in Rick's cottage. He greated us and gave us a lot of information about the island. The cottage ist very nice and clean, and has everything you need (towels for bath and beach, euipment for the beach, washer and dryer, outdoor shower...). It is very well located, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Our favorite beach was the "Big Beach" (about 15 minutes by car to Makena). We would definitely stay there again and we'd like to recommend it to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Kihei.

Maui's Hidden Gem

My girlfriend and I were looking for cozy little place to stay and we found just that! Rick greeted us upon arrival and welcomed us as if we were family. He shared his knowledge of the island with us and his recommendations really helped us be efficient with our time. The cottage is well appointed and is in a superb location. Just down the street is the beach, along with several shops and restaurants - but the cottage is located far enough away that it's very quiet and peaceful. Next time I'm in Maui, I'm booking his unit.

This cottage was perfect for what we were looking for on our vacation:
Relaxation, a little bit of seclusion, within walking distance of restaurants and beaches, and a great location on the island of Maui.

Rick and Janine were absolutely fantastic (so accomodating). Rick spent time walking us through all the Maui "musts" (great restaurants, trips, etc.), and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Kihei is one of the best locations on the island, and with this being my 14th+ time to Maui (my husband's 2nd), we were thoroughly impressed with this property.

Great for first timers and Maui lovers alike!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage for our honeymoon in June 2009. It was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures, even better in fact. We loved having the full kitchen, washer and dryer, and the outdoor shower. Rick was so helpful and gave us lots of information when we arrived. It was our first time in Maui, so it was great to get first hand information from someone that lives there. It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend the cottage to others, and hope to stay again someday.
