Beautiful private cottage

This was an awesome cottage in Kihei! It was in pristine condition with great air conditioning, appliances, flat screen TVs, and everything you need to cook a great meal if you do not want to go out for dinner every night. Also, the wireless internet was free, fast, and easy to get onto.

It is right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to a great place for breakfast (Kihei Cafe). We did not need to rent anything for the beach because the cottage was stocked with boogie boards, a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels.

Rick was extremely friendly and takes pride in keeping the cottage in top shape. He also has great advice about local attractions and places to eat. We followed a lot of his advice, and we had an awesome vacation. We stayed for two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer! We already booked our next trip for 2012. Looking forward to it :)

Such a beautiful cottage! Everything you could possibly need for a fun stay in Maui. Great location and looks just like the photos. We couldn't have had a better experience! Would stay here again and again.

Rick's place had everything we needed for our stay, right down to the beach items and complete with a washer & dryer unit and clearly well-maintained inside and outside. It was quiet and comfortable and most of all relaxing. The cottage is close to the beach and within driving distance of many must see sites. Rick met us and gave us several tips to make the most of our short time on Maui. We will definitely return and rent this cottage again but for a much longer time so we can complete activities that we missed for lack of time. We absolutely loved Momma's Fish House and the Road to Hana was an experience we will never forget. On our next visit, we will make it up to the volcano, snorkel with the turtles and spend more time at the beach. I highly recommend Rick's Place!
