Description of the Big Pine Key vacation house rental
ONE OF THE BEST LOCATIONS IN THE FLORIDA KEYS! PINE CHANNEL ESTATES!
Close to US 1, and Pine Channel which gives boaters immediate access to both the ocean and the Content Keys.
Enjoy boating, fishing, diving, or just relaxing in the Florida Keys. Plus you are only 30 miles from shopping and the festive atmosphere in Key West. Rent this wonderful home located at the 30 mile marker on a beautiful clear canal that vacationers often swim in. It contains a dock that overlooks the open water with beautiful palm trees and is located in a nice quiet setting.
The second level has a large screened porch to lounge on, a large living area, dining and modern kitchen with vaulted ceilings, two bedrooms and two full baths.
Easy access to diving at Looe Key and swimming at Bahia Honda State Park Beach (36 mile marker). Grocery shopping boat rental and fuel are very convenient.

Big Pine Key is a unique island because of its large size and available fresh water. It is home for the famous Key Deer who are protected and live on a preserve located on the island. It's not uncommon to see these dog-size, tame creatures roaming the neighborhood.
There are also alligators located inland which can be viewed from the safety of a viewing platform at Blue Hole. If fishing or diving is desired there are boat rental locations in the area or charters may be taken.
There are many good restaurants located within driving distance, which serve some of the finest fish, crab and lobster in the country. There is also a famous exclusive island called Little Palm Island that can be reached only by boat shuttle, where Sunday Brunch is served.
