2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms plus queen sofa sleeper in living room.

Condo is located in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico. It's inside Las Palomas golf and beach resort in Sandy Beach Resort area. Enjoy the upscale decor of Phase II with its heated pools, negative edge swimming pools, hot tubs and swim up bar with private and security monitored beach. Rocky Point is only 60 mi. south of the border and an easy 3.5 hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson, AZ. Once there you can't help but fall in love with this condos oceanfront view which you will enjoy from the 2nd floor patio deck that is approximately 40 feet long! Not only will you have a great view of the ocean but you can enjoy it in the afternoon shade. We purchased this unit specifically for the 2nd floor access (no need to use elevators). The 1,700 sq ft. condo is tastefully decorated, with basics like 42 in. flat screen TVs, original art work, washer and dryer, Internet access and ready to use kitchen. Pool side and room service dining available. Plus 18 holes of golf for the enthusiast!

How do I reserve this condo ? : First check the calendar for availability. Email or call us with dates you wish to reserve. We will email payment link invoice for dates you selected with PayPal.com payment site instructions. You don't need a PayPal account to use your credit or debit card. You would then make a 50% payment into our account at PayPal. Balance of funds will be due 14 days prior to your arrival. We will send you email PayPal invoice reminder. If you are making reservation with arrival within 14 days make full payment to reserve. Once payment is confirmed in our PayPal account we will email you confirmation of your reservation.

How do I get keys to the condo?: We will provide your name and the dates you are staying as paying guest of owner to resort staff. At time of check-in just show Picture ID at front lobby desk for Phase II and they will provides you with card keys good for the dates you reserved. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is by 11am to allow for cleaning and turnover process for next guest. Remember to request pool-side towel card at front desk and return it at check out to avoid extra charges. You have the option to open a room charge account linked to your credit card or you can pay cash as you use the resort facilities (restaurants, bar and room service).

How do I get to Las Palomas in Rocky Point?: From Phoenix go West on I-10 (30 miles), South on Highway 85 (40 miles) to Gila Bend. Continue South on Highway 85 to Ajo (40 miles) then continue South on Highway 85 to Lukeville (40 miles). Lukeville is the border crossing point into Mexico.

From Tucson you will get on Highway 86 heading West to Ajo / Why Arizona (120 miles). Once

you get to Highway 85 (at Why, AZ) turn South and follow Highway 85 to Lukeville (30 miles).

Once you cross the border you are in Sonoita and you will proceed South along the main road through the middle of town. Watch for signs to Route #8 and Puerto Penasco. You will proceed South on Route #8 (60 miles) to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point).

Route #8 takes you through the middle of Puerto Penasco. Watch for the large 'Bienvienidos' (welcome) sign where you will turn right on Calle #26. Take Calle #26 until you see the resort golf course and turn into Las Palomas property. At the security point say you have reservation and proceed to phase 2 lobby.

Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Rocky Point) is the nearest beach to Phoenix and Tucson. Sea of Cortez water tends to be warmer then the Pacific waters of Southern California. Kids love the coral tide pools and calm waters which are great for skim boards, boogie boards and snorkeling. Depending on storms at sea, waves can become large at times especially at high tide. Enjoy a relaxing walk on the beach, buy from the local vendors, or relax in the negative edge pools with beach views. Las Palomas is located on Sandy Beach at 150 Costero Blvd. in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) Mexico or about 60 miles south of Lukeville Arizona.

My Family and I stayed here, the property was gorgeous, very nicely decorated and clean condo. Enjoyed every minute of it, liked the fact that it was on the 2nd floor because of my 3kids,,, Had a great time here. I am a member of the Grand Mayan Resort and that does not compare to this beautiful complex. I would stay here over and over again, planning on coming back soon. Thank you for letting us enjoy such a beautiful place. The swimming pools are really nice we spent half the day there, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. Only problem was that there was no wireless internet, only broadband. Otherwise the PERFECT Vacation spot....

This unit was exactly as the owner promised. My teens slept on the sleeper sofa and complained a little about comfort, but other than that everything was great. Be sure to bring some paper towels and any food/spices etc that you anticipate needing. There was a small market at the end of the street, but the choices were VERY limited.
We ate at the Lighthouse in town and it was good. We also rented quads for only $16/hour and rode around in the dunes and up "competition hill".
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great Place to Stay!

My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. We found the amenities to be outstanding at this condo. We have 4 young children (all under 8), heated pools were great, walking to beach very simple, and being on the 2nd floor was a huge plus. We are already thinking of planning our next vacation here. Thanks
