I'm homesick for my 2 week home away from home! This place is so comfortable--for 2 or 4 people. The bedrooms are nice and private. The king bedroom has a door into the bathroom. The lanai is small, but very comfortable for 4 people to hang out and watch the sunset. The grounds are truly lovely. When we were there the oranges were in season and we had a lot of fresh orange juice--very sweet and delicious. The views from all the windows are a hawaiian delight.
Wendy is so welcoming and nice. She is extremely thoughtful in supplying her guests with so many little niceities. She gives you some Kona coffee--one day I smelled coffee roasting--very nice. There was a bocce set, of all things. We played bocce several times--that happens to be a popular sport among my people. For the beach, she has 4 of everything (or more)--sunglasses, hats, mats, chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, etc. And it's just on the side of the house ready to be used anytime. She also has a highchair, and baby beach things and a playpen--nothing we needed, but you might!
We had a lot of guests coming and going. Wendy didn't seem to mind at all. Again, she was very welcoming. All our friends were wowed by this place and they all want to come back and stay here. It is up a dead end road, so very private, yet totally convenient to get to town or any where. Very close to the airport. Wendy and her husband and 2 little dogs live upstairs, but we rarely heard them. There are no other neighbors to make noise, as there were at another place we stayed.
The place is bigger than it looks in these pictures. It is very comfortable. As you can see in the picture of the outside of the house, they use solar power for electricity. Because of this, we were asked to do laundry just during sunlight. That was just a little restricting, because we were often gone all day. But we managed!
5 stars and I wish I was coming back---if I was, I would stay here again, definitely and happily!!
