Adirondack cottage in the woods. Very short walk across dirt road ( Fawn Way ) and down the wooded foot path and stairs to your private boating/swimming/sitting dock with mountain views. Charming wood burning fireplace in the vaulted ceiling living room. Beautiful patina to the 150 year old, wide pine barn board floors, through the entire camp, giving the camp a warm rustic charm. Master bedroom with high vaulted wood ceiling. Great 'Twig' head board behind the King size bed, with skylights over the bed to watch the 'shooting stars' as you doze off to sleep. Small bunk room down the hall with single bed. Unique bath room with tumbled marble tile with mountain silhouette back splash behind the sink and in the 4 foot shower. Great eat-in kitchen with old wide board counter tops, vaulted wood ceiling with skylights for a bright, airy feeling. Second bedroom king bed with high, wood ceilings, wood burning fireplace.

The camp is in Long Lake in the Adirondack mountains of Northern New York about 45 minutes south of Lake Placid, NY. The cozy town of Long Lake is just a boat ride away or 10 minute walk for dining, food stores, shopping.

Golf at High Peaks golf coarse in Newcom with 'great mountain views' is 20 minutes down the road. It is a great walk even if you do not golf. Golf in Tupper Lake is 20 minutes away. Golf at Saranac Lake is 35 minutes away. Lake Placid has summer bob sled ride and other Olympic training events. Blue Mountain Lake Museum is 15 minutes away. The wild center museum is 20 minutes in Tupper Lake

Very clean and comfortable. Well-equipped and charming. Very restful. No TV but wireless internet made up for it. Made fires everyday and had roasted marshmallows. Great family time - read a lot, played games, made granola, hiked. It was rainy and cool but not a problem. We brought games but would have been good to have some there. Rooms were not as private as would have liked since bedroom doors don't close fully - they look nice, though. Lakefront is across the road and down through long path and stairs in woods. Not exactly easily accessible and only one chair on dock. No beach without driving.
