'Girl's Weekend!'

Every fall, the women in our family(usually 3 generations) drive to York Beach, Maine for our girl's get-a-way. This year(and hopefully for many years to come)we stayed at Dan and Chris's beautiful house. It was new, very clean and had any information needed regarding the house in a handy binder. They also had pamphlets and magazines about area attractions, activities and restaurants. The house was great - very roomy, comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms with great water pressure!, a very quiet neighborhood, and a wonderful back porch to relax on. If you had any questions, Chris was just a phone call away.
We love shopping, walking the beach, shopping some more, eating, etc, but this year the Ogunquit Playhouse was open - they had extended their season. Chris emailed me that 'Les Miserables' was playing and we enjoyed a truly professional performance. The actors, their voices, the orchestra - everything was excellent!! Hopefully we'll go every year.
This time of year is great for shopping as all the sales are going on! We shopped in York(sidewalk sale), Perkins Cove, Kittery, and Ogunquit. We would have shopped some more, but were only there for 3 days!
One of our favorite restaurants is Bintliffs in Ogunquit - excellent food - we had 3 friends join us from the area - 11 people, so they opened up one of their back rooms and we had the room to ourselves - great fun!
We cooked breakfast(s) at the house. Chris has the kitchen full of everything you need to eat-in.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this wonderful home and you would, too. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable home away from home!
