Our home is ideally suited for a small family up to 8 (with 2 double size beds and 2 queen size beds). The master bedroom (queen size) is on the lower level, and faces the ocean. There's also a full bath, comfortable living room/den with a big picture window (also looking out to sea), full-size kitchen with dining bar and pantry with washer/dryer. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms with ocean views and a shared full bath. One bedroom has two double size beds and the other bedroom has a queen size bed. Every room is freshly painted and decorated in a beautiful nautical theme in soothing colors of cool white and ocean blues, and there's new carpet throughout! It's strictly smoke-free and pet-free at all times. Amenities include two cable TVs, DVD, telephone service. There's plenty of house parking too. Also included for your convenience are starter paper and cleaning supplies, and departure sanitation service. You may bring your own linens or rent them at very reasonable rates.

While enjoying a nice, private vacation in the comfort of your own oceanfront cottage, you'll be surrounded by plenty of attractions. Great surf fishing is available -- on the Kure fishing pier, by charter boat, or off the beach itself in front of the cottage. For sightseeing, Historic Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach State Park, and the NC Aquarium are favorite local attractions on Pleasure Island within minutes from the cottage. A short drive will take you to historic Wilmington and the Battleship North Carolina -- just 18 miles away. And you may wish to take a day trip to beautiful Southport, by the NC Ferry system at nearby Fort Fisher. There is always something to do for everyone in the family!
