This cozy retreat offers privacy, intimacy, and convenient access to all the major attractions that the High Country has to offer. 'Lil' Piece of Heaven' is situated on over 3 acres of wooded terrain which includes a roaring stream that runs past the home, throughout the entire acreage and features waterfalls and fishing. Adding to its appeal, this property sits on the New River, the second oldest river in the world. Our home presents its guests with a majestic view of the river & Blue Ridge Mountains. Imagine yourself sitting on the wrap around porch, relaxing on a rocking chair while taking in the sights & sounds of the stream, waterfalls, river, & mountains. There is an abundance of wildlife to be observed, often as close as your front door. Feel & experience the peace and serenity of nature.

My family and I had previously scheduled a different cabin in the same area. That cabin had some pipes burst the weekend prior to our stay and they had to cancel on us. We had been planning our trip for some time, so we quickly reverted to the second cabin in our list "Lil Piece of Heaven'. The owners were able to quickly accommodate us and we were at the cabin within less than a week.
Our stay there was marvelous! While we didn't get any snow, we did have plenty of bonding time with the family.
We love to cook. There were plenty of pots and pans there including a slow cooker, blender, mixer, etc. Nobody went hungry (or thirsty), that's for sure...The hot tub was a nice touch as well.
The only suggestion I could think of is that it would be nice for there to be a binder of some sort (That remains at the home) with instructions on how to use the hot tub and other special information the guests may want to know. Other than that...Our stay was wonderful! Thank you!

Thank you for your gracious hospitality to welcome our famiy during the Xmas holiday. The decorations was icing for all the great ammenities that a Lil Piece of Heaven afforded us on our vacation. Everything was great and too numerous to select just one thing about your home. Thanks a million!!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us! We all loved the river...did some fishing and rock-climbing it in, what a blast! Just beautiful surroundings, inside and out, made for a lovely vacation and one we will never forget!

We had a wonderful visit to your home in Sparta. Thank you for the recommendations on restaurants, etc. We had s'mores by the campfire, used the hot tub, went to Blowing Rock, ate at Shelton Winery & best of all enjoyed your front porch rockers just talking, looking at the beautiful scenery & listening to the water. The bear carvings are amazing. Your home is just perfect!!!

Thank you for letting us stay in your csbin. We had everything needed for our family vaction there. We had a wonderfull time, the view of the river was spectacular and the kids enjoyed it very much. I loved the tranquility that alone was the best part. I love the way you decorated the cabin, I took many ideas home with me. We will definetly be coming back. Laura & Julio
