Cozy, clean, fun, shoreline area cottage ideal for two guests,but will accommodate up to 3 guests. Located on private dead end street in quiet neighborhood. Fully furnished with full galley, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee bar, full size washer & dryer, color TV, DVD player,& gas grill. Bedroom recently updated with luxurious full size bed for two. Main salon has fold out futon. Air conditioned, cable TV, &wireless high speed Internet access. Off street parking for one small car. Short drive to free town beach and park area, includes free parking pass for beach. Close to railroad station, on bus route to New Haven and Branford. Two miles to shopping centers. Excellent local restaurants and nightlife. Great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful New England shoreline area setting. Easy access to arts and theater, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking. Cottage is equipped with all amenities such as clean new bath towels, linens, dishes and cookware.

Our cottage is a short walk to the Farm River which provides views to Long Island Sound and surrounding wetland areas. Short Beach Road provides a scenic drive along coast to Branford shopping, train station and many fine restuarants along the shore. Short Beach Rd also provides quick access to the East Haven town beach, downtown East Haven and the East Haven Green which supports many free outdoor concerts, festivals and other events throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Relax & Enjoy!: Enjoy free access to our local town beach which offers free parking to our guests. The town beach is clean, safe( a town police station is located at the beach entrance), and there is a no charge shower house/restroom available to the public. Across from the beach is the very fun Sandpiper Restaurant, featuring great food and ice cream with indoor and outdoor dining! East Haven and Branford also offer many local events that are interesting and fun no matter what you may enjoy!

Many of our guests just enjoy the the quiet surroundings of our cottage, while sitting next to our goldfish ponds reading a book, or sipping on a glass of wine while watching the busy bird feeders located in our cottage garden!

And for those that enjoy cooking, we offer a full size gas stove and oven, with all the utensils to prepare almost any gourmet meals!

Recent Upgrades! Upgrades in thecottage include a secure wireless high speed internet connection, a brand new full size washing machine, new faucets in bathroom and galley area, plus new high flow shower head for a more enjoyable shower experience! We have also installed all new flooring and mouldings throughout the cottage to provide a more luxurious and modern appearance along with a more allergy friendly experience!

Do you like fishing or kayaking! : Our area offers easy access to great fishing and kayaking in Long Island Sound and the nearby rivers and bays! There are also excellent opportunities to see many rare shore birds!

We had an awesome stay in East Haven, CT. It was a quiet little cottage in a quiet neighborhood, just 2 miles from the ocean. It was neat, clean, and very cozy. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome. Would recommend it to anyone. I would give the place and excellent 5-star rating.

This was above and beyond what I expected! It was the first time I rented a home and not a hotel and it had everything I needed and more. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and made themselves available for any questions or needs we had. I loved the location, everything was within a very short driving distance. The cottage had everything mentioned, property was well maintained. Owners gave plenty of info, made maps, made us feel welcome. Bed was VERY comfortable, quiet neighborhood...In essence it was one of the best vacations I've had...ever!! Me and my family had a wonderful time...thank u!
