This unit within Beach Villas is absolutely first rate! This floor plan has sliding walls that fully open at both ends, and has ocean views from each end! The furnishings are great. The fold-out sleeper sofa was the best we've ever had for comfort. Morning coffee on the lanai, looking out at the ocean while overlooking the Beach Villas pool and lagoon, is hard to beat! This is truly a luxury unit with gorgeous views.
Ko'Olina resort area has very nice man-made ocean lagoons with palapas available for shade - great area for calm water swimming, snorkeling and just soaking. The oceanfront boardwalk provides access to adjacent resorts/ restaurants and marina. Ko'Olina resort area will be getting more restaurants & shops soon (under construction) which will be a welcome addition. This is undoubtedly this nicest resort area of Oahu. The only downside is that you have to drive to Kapolei (2 miles) to buy groceries, rent videos, and do other shopping. If you want the crowds, activities, shopping, hustle, bustle and frenetic scene of Waikiki, this is not your resort, but if you want relaxation, a beautiful setting, luxury accommodations, sunsets over the ocean, golfing, boating, stroll on the boardwalk, then this is your ideal destination.
