UNIQUE VILLA - 3 LANAIS, LAGOONS - BEAUTIFUL OCEAN VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM!

I booked our stay at the Ko Olina Beach Villas after extensive research. My hard work paid off. This condo is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! It is even better than the pictures depict. Words cannot describe how beautiful the Ko Olina resort area is. We rented a car and traveled extensively throughout the island. In my opinion, this area is THE BEST area to stay on Oahu. You are away from the craziness of Waikiki and in a beautiful, serene, resort like setting.

This was our first time renting through a private party, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Joan answered all of our initial questions promptly via phone and email. Upon our arrival, Ron was there to greet us. He escorted us to the villa and showed us how everything worked, From the moment I walked through the door, I knew we had made the right decision. The villa was perfect for our family of 4. The pictures depicted in the listing are exactly what you get. Villa is very clean and quiet. While the complex was busy with families on Spring Break, we never heard another family while inside the villa. We loved opening up the lanai's and eating breakfast with a spectacular view. All the supplies you need are provided in the kitchen as well as beach chairs, beach towels, laundry soap, etc.

Grounds are immaculately maintained and stunningly beautiful. There is a 1.5 mile paved walking trail that connects the Ko Olina Beach Villas with three other bordering resorts. The trail runs along the water and is a great place for a morning run/walk or at night for a sunset stroll. We felt very safe anywhere in this four resort area and allowed our two teens to explore a bit on their own as well.

The two pool areas as well as the beach along any one of the lagoons is a fabulous place to soak up the sun and swim. We rented paddleboards one afternoon on the lagoon. Kids also enjoyed walking down to the other resorts to check things out. Go in Disney to see the characters, go in the lobby of the JW Marriott to see the manta rays and the sharks. Walk down to the Paradise Cove lagoon. We waded with sea turtles three mornings at that site.

Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We enjoyed Monkeypod which is within the resort community. Great pizza! Within a 10 minute drive, you can also find grocery stores like Costco, Safeway and Target as well as chain restaurants.

I am so happy we rented this villa. It exceeded all my expectations! I would go back in a heartbeat!

The condo is certainly top of the line. For the size of the unit there is only sitting for three people comfortably in the living room(the two side chairs are not comfortable).
The unit is not very private. The south facing lanai is looking right into units across from the pool. You can look right into other units and they can look into this unit.
The main lagoon pool was closed at the time of our stay. We were very disappointed because it looked like a very nice pool. There was jack-hammering going on which made it very noisy to sit around that area to sun-bathe.
We also like it cool at night to sleep(66) and the unit would not cool down. We were not going to open the slider in the bedroom because then the other units could see you sleeping in the morning. Privacy issue.

My husband and 2 boys (ages 9 and 5) have stayed at the Ko'Olina for the past 3 years. When we started to research condos for this vacation we were saddened to find that the condos we have rented before were already booked, so that's when we found Joan and this condo. All I can say is WOW!!!! This condo is incredible! The east and west lanais just put this condo over the top. We were able to open them both up and just felt like we were living outside in Hawaii. The views were fantastic! Loved having my coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner out on the lanai! Saw whales too which is always a bonus! We love the beach villas in general. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on Oahu. Unfortunately the lagoon pool was closed during our stay, but Joan let us know as soon as she found out and offered a credit because of that. In the past we have spent a lot of time there, but the lap pool was great and the kids still had a blast. The beach at Ko'olina is perfect for our kids and we loved spending time there. The snorkeling there is actually pretty good...saw some pretty interesting fish there! Ron was also great to work with. Met us as soon as we arrived even though it was late in the evening, showed up to our room and made sure we knew to call him if we needed anything. I would recommend this condo to anyone, you won't be disappointed! We had an amazing stay there!!
