Great time NOT so Great house

We arrived to a house that was not very clean. Handles were missing from dresser drawers, beds were pushed together and titled "King" and stains were all over the couch. The dishwasher stopped working on the second day. The owners were notified immediately. They NEVER sent a repair service out. The first floor fireplace did NOT work. The pool table was slanted. We were told we would need back up if we wanted better internet service. On our last day, and after having to hand wash dishes that were used by over 12 people, we were told by the cleaning service that the owners were aware of the problem with the dishwasher as far back as 3 weeks. these issues were ALL addressed with the owner. The owner then accused us of leaving the house a mess and breaking a door. Our disappointment was obvious and we were told by the owner not to leave a bad review because she had a family to support. We ALL have families too and spent way too much money on a poorly kept house.
*** IPOD was left at the house and never returned.
Owner's Response: The nature of life and particularly in renting a house is that things happen and any system malfunction or any breakdown may occur at any time and we have no control over it. We try our best to handle every situation as soon as it occurs in a professional manner and other reviews may attest for that.
Below is our response to the point raised by the renter:
•We are aware of a missing handle of one drawer and this is why periodically we replace furniture. One broken handle should not be an issue to use the entire dresser.
•The set-up of the king size bed was made that way, so carrying, disassembling and maintaining the bed would be easier. The frame holds the 2 tall twin mattresses in a way that there is no gap between them. This is a set-up that we also have in our own house, simply because we thought it would be more comfortable for everybody.
•The cleaning crew was 100% correct. We had an issue with the dishwasher 3 weeks prior to renters arrival. We brought in an appliance maintenance technician that is considered to be an expert in his field. He made a major repair and maintenance work. That individual is always busy and it takes a while to bring him over when an appliance maintenance issue occurs. We contacted him immediately after the renter called, but the technician has failed to respond quickly. Although we tried to resolve the dishwasher issue in a professional manner, the renter disassembled and sabotaged the dishwasher on their own.
•The fireplace we have at the game room, can become operational in no time, except it is a major risk to the game room equipment, therefore we blocked any access to its original set-up/location. The renter may have a point and we should be more specific in our ad regarding the fireplace operation mode.
•We have pictures in our possession of the reckless behavior and negligence to support our claim related to how the renters left the house and the damages that were caused by them. In spite of the damages the renters caused to the house, their security deposit was fully refunded.
•We clearly told the renter that if they feel that they have the need to post a review on the site, we would be that last one to prevent him from posting a review.
•Finally the claim about the lost IPOD- it was brought up to our attention that the IPOD was missing a week after the renter left the house. We reached out to our cleaning crew and asked them to assist us with that matter. They told us that they did not find it
