This charming holiday-villa is built on a hill-side overlooking the vivid village and beach of Cala Llonga, so certainly not 'away from it all'. It is south facing and only one mile from beach, restaurants, shops and other amenities. The house is on three levels, comprising an entrance hall at road level, with stairs leading down to the central floor, containing a living room opening onto a beautiful south facing covered terrace, furnished as second living/dining room with a breathtaking view. Other rooms on this floor are the fully equipped kitchen, the main twin bedroom with en suite bath/shower room and working room with extra guest-toilet. On the lower floor are two twin bedrooms, a shower room and a hall opening onto a second covered terrace with big dining table and in direct connection with the barbecue place. The private pool is surrounded by a large sun-terrace with 6 sunbeds, several umbrellas and an outside shower. The whole area can be illuminated for night-use.

It is about 10 minutes walk to Cala LLonga village and beach and 5 minutes drive to the centre of Santa Eulalia (10 minutes to Ibiza town.) Cala llonga is nestled between peaks of pine covered mountains, with a sheltered bay bordering an impressive sweep of golden sand sloping very gently into the sea. Pedalos, snorkelling, windsurfing and fishing are popular and you will find plenty of bars, restaurants, tourist shops, a popular disco, several supermarkets, car and bike hire and money exchange. Santa Eulalia has a sleepy Mediterranean village atmosphere, with a lovely waterfront, very friendly inhabitants and helpful shopkeepers. As well as all those you expect to find in a tourist resort, together with a street of delightful pavement restaurants serving both locals and visitors and really coming to life at night. On the hillside the old Ibicencan houses huddle around a medieval fortress-church looking down over a river and fertile valley dotted with orange and lemon groves.

Notes: The house is of an older style, but well maintained, homely and with all of the comforts you have at home! The kitchen also provides water heater and juicer. Always plenty of hot water because of the sun collector on the roof. The television corner offers a big flat screen and satellite receiver with a lot of international channels. The 2 covered terraces both have big dining tables and chairs for 6. All the windows in the house have mosquito-panels, so you can leave them open day and night. Besides all the rooms have ceiling fans, which keep them cool. Weekly cleaning, linen- and towel-change and pool service. We do not have internet access, but within 10 minutes walk there are several free wifi-corners, internet cafes and all the other amenities you need.

Golf: Club de Golf Roca Llisa is situated within less than 5 minutes drive from the house. It is a fine course, which offers a series of appealing challenges. It is relatively flat, with wide fairways and very fast greens. A course for which caution is the key.

Perfect holiday and a view to die for!

My family (6 adults) stayed here in early September and had a fantastic holiday. The villa exceeded our expectations on all accounts, handovers were excellent and equipment and facilities provided more than covered all eventualities. Kitchen basics were all supplied for arrival and there were even some lilos in the pool house so we could jump straight in and revert to our child hood. We spent most of our time on or around the (bigger than expected) pool and loved every minute of it.

The terrace views were spectacular and watching the sun rise in the morning and set at night are the thing we'll miss most. Breakfast and a gin and tonic in the evening will never be the same again!

The villa was extremely well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Slightly steep stair cases but we managed with heavy shopping and suitcases no problem. The nearest big supermarket for fresh food, bread, fruit, fish etc was in Santa Eulalia (a 10 minute drive away) but you can get all your basics in the local village of Cala Llonga. This village is about a ten minute walk, down hill on the way, fairly steep up hill on the way back but plenty of taxis if you're feeling lazy. The town itself is fairly quiet but still has plenty to entertain you. A beautiful clean and child friendly beach and sheltered bay, lots of shops selling bargains, cocktails bars and lots of restaurants to choose from.

Our favourite restaurant was The Terrace where the food was exceptional and extremely good value, 9 Euros for 3 courses of mouthwatering homemade fresh grub!

Every single one of us would highly recommend this villa and hope to return again one day. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did : )

A Perfect Holiday

Stayed here with a few friends last year. The house was perfect. So much space over so many levels that we could all hang out together on the fanstastic deck or have a quiet siesta in our rooms. The house had everything we needed. Cala Llonga is not that great a beach but am sure its perfectly fine for people with young families. We were so happy with the outdoor area and pool, we spent most of our time at home. You def need a car but if there is a group of you, getting taxis to and from a night out is not too expensive. Would thoroughly rec this villa - we're seriously contemplating a return visit in 2010.

Excellent Family Villa

It was our first time to the island aug 2008 so we took a punt on the location and it worked out very well,Cala Llonga is a really nice area with plenty tod but also very close to calla Eularia which is busier has a marina and excellent restuarants.
The villa itself is very spacious,the pool excellent and the view from the balcony room a delight at anytime of the day but especially lovely at night
the housekeeper and owner are very helpful and the villa was spotless,linen towelskitchen etc very clean indeed
In summary a really good choice well located family villa .
