The main floor has warm, rich (heated) wood floors running throughout and is beautifully decorated with designer furnishings, window coverings and luxury linens. At the heart of the main floor is a gourmet kitchen equipped with high end appliances, cookware, and dinnerware. It features granite counter tops, a large island with seating for 3, and a dining room table that can accommodate 8 people comfortably. It is a terrific gathering spot for family and friends; and, it is equipped with everything you could need whether you are making breakfast before heading to the slopes, preparing a holiday meal, or entertaining friends!
Just off the kitchen, there is an open living room featuring a sofa, loveseat, and 2 swivel rockers with ottoman. Even a large group can gather together and enjoy the gas fireplace, play one of the many available board games, or relax and watch a movie on the 40” LCD High Definition television/Bose speaker system with DVR, DVD player, and Roku. Best of all, this bright inviting area has floor to ceiling windows and a sliding glass door that opens up onto a private balcony equipped with a gas grill so you can cook out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Also, conveniently located on the main floor are a powder room and an office area equipped with high-speed wireless cable Internet access in case you wish to stay connected?
On the second floor, you will find a palatial master retreat featuring a wall of windows showcasing the breathtaking Mountain View! This private sanctuary has a king bed, an entertainment armoire complete with a 32” LCD High-Definition TV, DVR and Roku, and a comfortable lounge area perfect for reading your favorite book. The master suite also has a private bathroom equipped with granite countertops, double sinks, walk-in shower, a large bathtub, and a walk-in closet...which provides ample space for your winter wardrobe. Also located on the second floor are two additional guest rooms. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bedroom suite and has a large bay window. The third bedroom offers two twin beds, a dresser, and a large window. These bedrooms share the second full bathroom on this floor. And, for your convenience, you will also find a laundry area complete with a washer and dryer. That way, you can pack light or dry wet winter clothing! It is from the second floor that you access the kid’s favorite room in the house…the sleeping loft! The loft has a full sized bed, a night stand, and a large skylight where you can lay in bed and watch the stars!
This property also provides something unique to many places in Vail… a clean, HEATED; private two-car garage! There is enough room for skis, bikes and other equipment. But, if you would rather not drive, this townhome (just two miles from Vail Village) is located on the free Town of Vail Bus Route (which runs every 15 minutes in the winter or every 30 minutes in the summer.) In the summer, there’s also a gorgeous bike path nearby that runs along Gore Creek into Vail Village.
