Simplicity. Maine offers it.: The ride to these parts of Maine are extraordinary. The state of Maine changes as you ride up the coast. There are pretty places to stop and browse along your trip, but once up into this part of Maine, referred to as 'Down East' you'll know why it's so simple. Ellsworth, just a short drive has all the conveniences, but is the last substantial urban sprawl. As though trapped in a time warp, the local country stores will delight and entertain. People from Maine will stop and chat it up with you just out of interest. The natural beauty is astonishing . The coast of Maine is longer than the coast of California because of all of the inlets and harbors. There is much to investigate and the amount of water views is surprising. The hiking is exceptional, and this location is wonderful for biking as well.
Dogs, Linens, Additional information: No extra Security Deposit required for pets Linens and towels can be used, but bring additional. The In-Law Apartment can be rented in addition, or might be occupied. Ask. Leases are e-mailed and secured w/ 1/2 up front.
Leases, Rental Deposits, Cancellation Policy: I fax/mail a lease and you sign it and send it to me with a deposit of 1/2 the rental amount w/in 5 days. Later on, if time allows, I ask for the other 1/2. A security deposit of $200 and a cleaning fee of $50 is required. 45 days written notice for cancellation. You are responsible for full amount should the rental not be re-booked. If it is re-booked, at a lower rate, you are responsible for the difference. Every effort is made to rebook.
