Whitewater raft or fly fish in your backyard!:
This lovely townhome sits on the Eagle River. You can whitewater raft or kayak on the Eagle River, using a number of local guided tour companies in the spring and summer. Or walk outside and cast your line into the river for some fly fishing.
Take the kids on a caving and coaster adventure! :
Drive only 45 minutes west to Glenwood Caverns [open year round] and ride the alpine coaster, flip on the bungee trampolines, watch 4-D movies, enjoy cave tours, ride the mechanical bull, and hunt for gems. Enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains as you ride in a gondola to and from the park. When you're done, soak in the natural hot springs just a few minutes away in Glenwood Springs.
Walk to the local park!:
Just steps from our home is a large park, complete with a toddler, preschool, and big kid area for climbing, flipping, running and sliding! Then take off your shoes and cool off in the water play area. Be amazed by the kids [and adults!] doing their acrobatics at the attached skateboard park. Watch for the weekend lacrosse and soccer games, too, on the numerous fields adjacent to the park. You can also take the bike trail to Avon [at the bottom of Beaver Creek] for a nice 6 mile round-trip ride/walk, or stop in Avon for a meal before heading home!
You'll love that you never have to drive! Enjoy the 20 restaurants and 80 retail stores, all within walking distance. You can even catch the bus to the lifts right across the street.
Ski:
1.3 miles to Beaver Creek's arrowhead lift. 10 miles to Vail. Eagle County shuttle pick up across the street with service to Vail or Beaver Creek.
