Cataumet is a village in Bourne in which time has stood still. If you need to just get away and relax, this is your place. Enter through gates to a fully enclosed yard with century old plantings/gardens. Relax on the wrap around porch or have dinner by candlelight. This home was on a designer house tour and the furnishings are an elegant mix of old and new. Nearby is an art Complex/post office and newly renovated playground. There are miles of walking trails through the woods and by the shoreline. Parker's Boatyard and Kingman Marine with the famous 'Chart Room' is around the corner. The yachts and sunsets are magnificent!! The highway is nearby to visit Woodshole and Falmouth or go the other way to Historic Sandwich and the rest of Cape Cod. Warm water Old Silver Beach is 5 miles away.

Just over the Bourne Bridge, located in the village of Cataumet, lies a picturesque home. It is close to many activities and attractions, and yet tucked away for privacy and relaxation. There are many walking trails that go along the sea shore and woodlands. Kingman Marine with the famous 'Chart Room', delicious seafood, including lobster is nearby. Take a bike ride to Woodshole on the newly opened Shining Sea bike trail for breathtaking vistas. Art galleries and playgrounds are within walking distance also. The yard is fenced in entirely for child safety. Come and enjoy the beautiful beaches and sunsets!! History is abundant in surrounding Falmouth and Sandwich. Walki the Cape Cod Canal.

Beautiful house with great amenities

We stayed here 4th of July weekend and it was perfect. There is plenty of space inside the house to accommodate 8 people and we sat outside on the porch for every meal. The location is convenient, right over the bridge and close to many beaches. We will definitely be staying again next year!
