My Cottage has concrete steps to a sandy/shale shoreline. Sit on private dock , paddle the provided canoe, or bring your own boat/kayak.This is a great spot for kayaking or fishing. Has a 24x12 deck to entertain.Renovated kitchen ready; just bring the food. Linens, towels, basic paper supplies provided. Downstairs bedroom with 1 set of bunk beds and double bed, closet.Perfect for the grandparents.Double futon in living room plus sofa and love seat. Master bedroom upstairs has queen bed and french doors opening to balcony for 2, breezes, and beautiful sunsets. Second bedroom upstairs has 1 double bed, 2 single beds(one with side rail) perfect for the young family with small children, and air conditioning.Bathroom is downstairs and has large shower. Pets are welcome and must be pre approved. Private, off street parking for 4 vehicles; or 3 vehicles and boat trailer, boat lift. Short walk to village which has free WIFI, laundramat, churches, library,gas/convience stores,liquor/sandwhiches

Weekend Getaway!

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous time this past weekend and really enjoyed meeting Bud & Jan! They are very sweet and we are so thankful that they shared their lovely home with us for a few days. All of the little touches around the house made us feel right at home. It was wonderful getting to fall asleep to the sound of the waves from Lake Champlain at night and relaxing on the dock during the day. It is truly a perfect setting and the sunsets were to die for.

We can't wait to book our vacation next year!! I would recommend this home to anyone.

A Wonderful Getaway

My boyfriend and I chose this cottage based on its location right on Lake Champlain. It was a quiet weekend as most of the families were gone after Labor Day and it was exactly what we were looking for. The owners are very warm people and they even offered us a boat ride while we were there! The cottage is tucked away from the main road on its own private road with only a few houses. There are plenty of games for kids, a wonderful dock with chairs, a chiminea to roast marshmallows at night, and a canoe with paddles. We also got some great fresh vegetables from the "on your honor" produce stand just a few blocks away. This was a great little retreat from our daily lives in NYC. Thank you Bud and Jan!

Terrific experience

Just returned from a great week at this property. It was exactly what we wanted - a place to provide downtime when desired; as well as offering an abundance of options for the kids. The hospitality shown by Bud and Jan went above and beyond what should be expected. We would highly recommend this property to others and will likely make it a return destination for ourselves.

The description of the cabin was accurate. Everything was neat and clean and all the basics were provided.
Bud & Jan were very helpful.
We had a nice, relaxing and quiet week. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family.

"Heavenly"

We just spent the most glorious three weeks in this house! Bud & Jan have thought of every 'little thing' you could possibly want or need. From all the extras...to the most beautiful sunsets you could possibly imagine! We had our two year old grandsons with us for two of the weeks...and they loved every minute of being at the 'Lake House'...from fishing off the dock, to going in Grandpa's boat...never a dull moment! Thank you Bud and Jan...we'll see you next summer...for another three weeks!!! It's summer's like this...that make the most beautiful memories! Smile....
