Just 45 minutes to Tampa's Busch Gardens, 98 miles to Disney World, 40 minutes to Tampa's Channelside, Aquarium, Historic Ybor City, and Tampa Bay Lightning NHL games. Just 30 minutes the MLB Devil Ray games and the Salvador Dali Museum in nearby St.Petersburg. Sarasota and its famous and beautiful St. Armand's Circle is a day trip away.

Perfect vacation home

Only a few steps from the white sand beach, from beautiful sunsets and diving doldhins, this remarkable restored colonial house has it all. A vacation atmosphere, a pool in the backyard, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, three lovely bedrooms, and tables on the porch and the veranda relax and enjoy each day. You feel at home from the minute you open the door and don't want to close it behind you when it is time to leave. You really want to know who owns this place to ask if it is for sale.
The only downside was that the bicycles and canoes, the beach chairs and umbrellas remained behing locked doors in the garage even though we were told it would all be available. I therefore advice to make sure you have access to these things particularly as the beach is perfect for cycling to Caladesi Island and the water just as perfect for canoeing.
Nevertheless, this was without any doubt the most beautiful vacation home I have ever been to and that means quite a bit after more than 25 years of extensive traveling.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the wonderful comments, but so very sorry about the access to the beach equipment. It is certainly there for all to use. I wish that you would have contacted the rental agent! It will not happen again!

Relaxing Joyful Vacation

We greatly enjoyed our trip to Clearwater Beach, and Clearwater Elegance. The house is beautiful and in a lovely setting, just across the street from the beach. Beach access was very easy, just cross the street and there is a walkover. The sand is very white and fine and the water was a lovely greenish color.
The house was fully stocked with anything/everything you could imagine. (baby supplies were endless!) The kitchen had all Kitchen Aid appliances and there were plenty of plates, utensils, glasses and knives.
Bedrooms were comfortable and there were TV's in each room. The family/dining room area was very comfortable for six adults.
The pool area was wonderful, very relaxing. The garage was stocked with many chairs, bikes, kayaks, and miscellaeous pool toys. Honestly, everything you could ever imagine was there.
My only complaint, and it is VERY minor, is the comfort of the dining room chairs. They cut into the back of our legs! But, there were plenty of throw blankets to use to cushion the chairs.. See, I told you that was minor!
It was a lovely vacation, I highly recommend it!
