I highly recommend renting from Karen and Matt. They are very easy to work with. Their unit at the Caravelle Resort turned out to be even better than expected. The view of pool and beach is wonderful. The unit itself is nicely and newly decorated. The unit is well stocked for the vacationers who do not want to "lug" too much. The unit had beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys and mats. They even provided the room with games, movies and books. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. If anyone wanted to cook during their stay, they will find everything they will need including an electric can opener. They provide the unit with ample towel supply. The A/C works very well. The unit is clean and spacious. There are 2 queen size beds and a couch with a pull out bed. We were very pleased with the accomodations.
The resort itself is nice too. They have scheduled activites for the children, fitness center and game room. There is also a laundry room on the first floor that was never crowded.
I read about the parking and elevator situation before we got there and fully expected some trouble but only once during our stay did we have to park across the street, and that was not a big deal. The elevators can be a problem during the day when housekeeping and maintenance uses it, but we later found elevators around the corner from the unit so using the elevators for us during that week was not a problem at all. The beach and pools are great.
Once again, I highly recommend renting from Karen and Matt.
