More details: Our unit was completely remodeled in 2007 with new carpet, granite countertops, bedding and window treatments with a Mediterranean decor. This unit is not direct oceanfront, but has a view as nice as oceanfront. Just lounge on the large balcony and take in the beautiful view of the ocean and coastline. This unit has convenient access - park on the 5th floor of the parking garage and go directly to the unit without ever using an elevator. This is a great asset for the elderly or handicapped. There is a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. coffee maker and all utensils and cookware you will need. All linens and towels will be provided for you. We have added many little extras to our unit for our renters to use, such as beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, videos and games. There is also a 37' flat panel high definition tv for you to watch those videos on. No need to wait in long lines to check-in when staying with us, just arrive and start your vacation!

More details (con't.): On site, you will find indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis, large splash station kiddie pool, 2 lazy rivers, fitness room, mini mart, arcade, laundry room and ice cream shop. The indoor pool is located on the 7th floor overlooking ocean boulevard and on the oceanfront side of the 7th floor is a veranda with chairs and hammocks for relaxing in. For entertainment, there is Marco Polo Grill & Bar located by the outdoor pool that has live music during the summer months. There is also Liquids Martini and Coffee bar and Santa Maria restaurant. Come visit our beautiful beach and see for yourself why we love it! THIS IS A NON-SMOKING ROOM AND YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT!! I highly recommend renting from Karen and Matt. They are very easy to work with. Their unit at the Caravelle Resort turned out to be even better than expected. The view of pool and beach is wonderful. The unit itself is nicely and newly decorated. The unit is well stocked for the vacationers who do not want to "lug" too much. The unit had beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys and mats. They even provided the room with games, movies and books. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. If anyone wanted to cook during their stay, they will find everything they will need including an electric can opener. They provide the unit with ample towel supply. The A/C works very well. The unit is clean and spacious. There are 2 queen size beds and a couch with a pull out bed. We were very pleased with the accomodations.
The resort itself is nice too. They have scheduled activites for the children, fitness center and game room. There is also a laundry room on the first floor that was never crowded.
I read about the parking and elevator situation before we got there and fully expected some trouble but only once during our stay did we have to park across the street, and that was not a big deal. The elevators can be a problem during the day when housekeeping and maintenance uses it, but we later found elevators around the corner from the unit so using the elevators for us during that week was not a problem at all. The beach and pools are great.
Once again, I highly recommend renting from Karen and Matt.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

The condo was excellent in every way.The view was beautiful and the balcony gets the sun all afternoon. I would rate this above normal. The owners were excellent to deal with and I would not hesitate to reccomend it. Don & Mary Legacy

Had an absolutely grand time. The accomodations were excellent and the amenities at the resort were excellent. The view from the balcony was simply fantastic. The only issue we had was with parking. If you were out and got back after 10ish you were most likely going to have to park across the street.

We spent June 15-19, 2008 in room 508. We loved the condo, it has such a "homey" feel. It was beautifully decorated and the view was fantastic. We will definitely consider staying here again.
