We really enjoy the many outdoor activities that sunriver and the surounding area of Central Oregon offers.
Dean purchased this house in 1999
Central Oregon is our favorite vacation destination.
We enjoy the views overlooking the 4th green of the Woodlands Golf Coarse and the mountain views of Paulina from the large deck area. Also access to the new SHARC recreation facility, swimming pool, and tennis court access across the street from house. SHARC Passes
I hope you enjoyed your stay, and you will consider our house the next time you vacation at Sunriver.
Thank You, Dean
This home is obviously being graciously shared with renters by the owners. It is not a typical rental-only type place. There are more utensils and dishes available in the kitchen than normal. The kitchen and living room were remodeled with quality and good taste. The floor plan is very convenient. The location of the house is very convenient (especially in summer) We have rented over 8 homes in Sunriver over the years, and this one is a stand-out!
This house is well appointed, with all the comforts of home... cushy leather sofas in a very roomy great room, beautiful and well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a great deck overlooking the golf course. The bathrooms were nice and spacious and hot showers plentiful, however, the some of the bath linens were sour smelling, and there was virtually no toiletries provided (shampoo etc.). Maybe it was just a bad week for housekeeping. (oh, and no hairdryers... BYO) (Oh, but there WAS laundry detergent, you don't need to BYO, haha.)
The mountain bikes were well maintained, except for the tire pressure on a couple of them... be sure to check it before heading out on a long ride. There was one mountain bike small enough for our 10 year old, a medium bike for our 12 year old, and 4 adult sized bikes, all with easily adjustable seats. SHARC passes were great, and the house has beach/pool towels (I think I counted 6 of them.) The nearby (100 yds) tennis courts were great, and I think I saw a racquet or two in the garage (we brought our own).
BTW, this is a split-level home, with living spaces on four different sort-of half-stories, with the kitchen/great room at the top. You're gonna have some stairs, no matter what. There is one bedroom/bathroom at the same level with the garage, but you'll need to go up a dozen stairs from there to get to the kitchen/great room. Totally fine for our family, but if stairs are an issue for you...
Overall, a great week at a wonderful home.
This home was very well appointed and served out family perfectly. The four grandchildren were in the room with bunk beds and their parents were next to them, sharing the downstairs bathroom. It was also the coolest room in the house during our little heat wave. The view is perfect and the children were able to play on the golf course after the last golfer, football, frisbee, etc and we could watch them. We all brought our own bikes but we didn't need to. The bikes provided were very nice, all sizes. There is a tennis court almost directly across the street. Winners Circle is not a thoroughfare so there was very little traffic. Very quiet, peaceful. For visitors with younger children, the Nature Center is a great facility. Our sons went there when they were young and now there's a very significant observatory. Also, the High Desert Museum is fabulous! - We were there for the Pacific Crest events, marathon, half marathon, triathlon, splash-pedal-run, etc. Lots of families for that and the 4th celebration. Great parade, lots of things to do in the mall, petting zoo, water balloon toss, the whole Americana 4th of July stuff. Loved it. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the owner was available, helpful and we figured it out with her suggestions. The only drawback was there is no air conditioning and it was in the high 90's for our week there. The owner has fans and with open windows when it was cool in the evenings, fans and shutting the windows and curtains during the day, we managed. It is a beautiful home and the owners have done a lovely job furnishing it. We have been coming to Sunriver for over 40 years. We love it.
We spent a wonderful week in Sunriver at 26 Winners Circle. We think this is the best location of a home we have ever rented in Sunriver. We love to golf and love to watch the golfers go by, so the view of the 4th hole of the North Course was fantastic. The house itself was wonderful and will be even more nice after the remodel! The ONLY thing we would even comment about is there isn't an air conditioner, but we were there on a particularly hot week. Otherwise, it was perfection!
This home was a great place to stay. There were six of us, 3 couples, and we each had our own bedroom & bath with lots of privacy. The main living area was perfect for sitting around & visiting with comfortable furnishings and lots of light! We had a lot of fun watching the golfers and we BBQ'd two nights. Very spacious deck, fun playing pool, and some of us even used the bikes in the garage. We would definitely stay here again.
