Please note that as we are a destination Spa, one spa service at adjacent Just For Me Spa is required for each guest during their stay at the Log Cabin home. However, a spa service is not required for stays of two or more nights.
Here is your starting point for a fun-filled weekend of sightseeing, shopping, Spa-going or simply relaxing on the front porch with your friends.
Our modernized farmhouse is a two-story home that sleeps four to six people (we call it our 'log cabin' because of its beautiful log cabin siding), and it's just up the hill from historic downtown Stillwater.
An open, loft-style bedroom is upstairs, featuring two luxurious queen-sized beds, a dressing table, comfortable chairs and hardwood floors. The first floor also has hardwood floors and an extra-large kitchen with a bistro-height table and chairs, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and everything you'd need for meals or snacks. Just off the kitchen is a modern bathroom with a shower and whirlpool tub.
A dining room is next to the kitchen and has a large table that seats six. A cute 'n cozy sitting room is directly off the dining room behind French doors and features cable TV with a DVD player. The large living room has a sleeper sofa and comfortable chairs, fronted by an enclosed screen porch. There is also complimentary Wi-fi and broadband internet for your use.
The Log Cabin is just steps away from Len's, a full-service, old-fashioned grocery store with a meat counter featuring deli meats, homemade soups, salads and other items for a spur-of-the-moment picnic or late-night snack. Just down the street is our favorite ice-cream store, Nelson's, with the largest 'small' ice-cream cones you'll ever see.
Within walking distance is the historic business district of Stillwater, the birthplace of Minnesota. Watch the eagles soar along the St. Croix, a designated Wild and Scenic River. Step back in time as you browse for antiques and unique gifts along Main Street. Hungry? Choose from an array of restaurants and pubs: Mad Cappers or Whitey's for hamburgers, sandwiches and soups; the Dock Cafe, the Green Room or Marx Wine Bar for upscale dining.
Whether you come to Stillwater to shop, dine out or live the small-town life for a while, the quiet and restful Log Cabin will be the most memorable part of your visit.
