Additional information about rental rates

  • Reservations made for June 2010 through December 2010 before March 1st receive 5% discount on rent.
  • Deposits: Your deposit of 1/2 total rent plus $400 security deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. This deposit can be made with a personal check, bank check, or money order (US Funds Only). The deposit must be received within 7 days of making the reservation. The 2nd half of rent plus 7% lodging tax will be due one month before arrival date.

    If renter chooses to pay the entire Rent amount plus the security deposit by May 30, 2009 the owner will pick up the cost of the 7% lodging tax . This will be a savings of up to $182.00 for the renter.
  • $400 refundable security deposit required and a 7% Maine state lodging tax, not included in rent.

Great vacation house for a week away from home.

My wife, 18-month old son, and I stayed in this house the week between Christmas and New Year's. We found the house to be very comfortable, and spent the vast majority of the time in front of the fireplace (the owner provided plenty of firewood).

As stated in the other reviews, the house is well appointed, it was very clean, and was well stocked (cookware, glassware, linens galore). We made use of the outdoor grill on the side porch, the lobster pot (Beach Plum Farm just down the road was a great place to get lobsters), the washer & dryer, the TV & DVD player...we didn't find ourselves missing anything in the house.

In our experience, the house was very child friendly. We brought two baby gates, but only needed to use one (to restrict access to the stairs.

At this time of year, things are very quiet in Ogunquit, which is exactly what we were looking for. Quite a few businesses shut down for the winter, but not all of them. During the week, we explored the downtown area and Perkins Cove, as well as side trips to Kittery (15 mins away) and Portland (45 mins).

The owner was really nice, and easy to deal with...he actually came to clear off the walkway/stairs after it snowed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

We recently enjoyed our weekend stay here; close enough to walk to town but still in a quiet residential area. The house was clean, well furnished and equipped. An album was provided with lots of suggestions for dining and shopping. This was a "girl's getaway" and we had a great time spending time away from spouses and family to celebrate the holiday season. Thanks for the Stonewall Kitchen products John!

Great house for families with superb service

The house is tasteful equipped with new furniture and all rooms show that the house is very well looked after. The bedrooms are really spacious and the two bathrooms provide all necessary amenities. The kitchen is well equipped and you don't miss a thing.
The owners provide information on many local attractions and restaurants. Whenever you require they support you in every way.
The kids loved the open gallery in the living room. Though we couldn't use it the fireplace is another attraction in the living room.
Ogunquit offers many things to see and to do. Even in fall the beach was our main resort. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand or hunting seagulls. And in the evening you'll find many child-friendly restaurants.
We will certainly come back.
