Peñiscolaa is situated on the Costa del Azahar. The “Orange Blossom Coast.” It got its name from the dense citrus groves on this coastal plain. Peñiscola is one of the two principal seaside resorts in the area.

It is renowned for its sandy beaches. Our house “Cork” is situated on the southern coastline of Peñiscola. Its rooftop veranda has unspoilt views of the sea and the medieval castle.

It is decorated to the highest standard (marble floors, shuttered windows, gas central heating, private garage and garden.) All modern conveniences are in “Cork.”

You are greeted by a local Manager, Renata who will look after your queries. She speaks German, French, Spanish, English. The Eddison private 25m swimming pool is safe and secure and is maintained to the highest standard. Toddlers are catered for in an adjacent babypool. It is 2.5km from the town centre.

I stayed at "Cork" in Peniscola with two other adults and 3 young children. Plenty of space in the villa for all of us. Great location. Excellent pool. Peniscola is a jewel of a place. Ideal for people with young children. Definately need a car though.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Great Holiday - Very relaxing!

We stayed in this villa in mid August. Our party was made up of 6 adults and found the house to very clean, modern and with great space over many floors. The nearby beach is a rocky beach, but we found the sandy beach in the town to be excellent, always clean! We ate out alot while there and had good quality, good value food, we particularily liked the restaurants in the marina of nearby Alcossebra. We went on a daytrip to Valencia, the architecture and shopping there was excellent, the open top bus tour was a pleasure. We also spent our final night of the holiday in Barcelona, making the whole experience one to remember. You do need a car if staying at this house, but overall a relaxing place to stay. Peniscola a real find!
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

visit to cork

quiet, peaceful, & residential about 2 miles from town on the south beach area a few minutes walk from the sea & the costal path to IRTA national park. we have stayed here 5 times ranging from 1 to 6 weeks & found the property very comfortable even on the rare occassion when we had rain for several days (winter visit). we found that this is our home away from home

the local bus runs in high season only, hence tourist without car not ticked

Peniscola was a great find, very different to the "Costas"

touring inland you will find the "real spain"
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
