Reservations: After we receive your availability request, we will promptly reply with booking instructions. ALL reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis.

Payment: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate & the $150damage/security deposit is required to reserve the room. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Please make payments in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Suite 34. Credit cards are also acceptable via fax or e-mail with a copy of the front of your card and a copy of a state-issued ID. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The balance of rent is due fourteen (14) days before your arrival date.

Cancellation: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

Quiet Neighborhood, Close to Everything!

This was a beautiful house with a great location. The streets are tree-lined, there is easy parking that does not require a permit for out of state tags, and the decor was beautiful. Using the kitchen & dining area was easy, plus there was a mini-fridge & microwave next to the room. Great! Loved it!

Great Place, Great Time

This apartment is very roomy. The steps into this place are a little steep, so be careful. It is a short walk to the metro and the busses practically stop at your door. We felt safe walking from the metro to the apartment at night. The people we met on the street were very friendly. If you do drive to town the owner gives great suggestions on where to park.

The apartment does flood when it rains really hard. We were able to mop up the water and put the rug in the drier. Nothing was ruined, and it didn't take long to clean up.

Overall remember you are in the city, you will hear busses, sirens, and people walking by. But we really didn't notice it after the first night.

You can't beat the price for what you are getting. We are counting the days until we can visit the city again and get a chance to stay in this wonderful apartment:)
Owner's Response: There was a citywide flooding that night since the public sewers were overfilled with all of the rain. This problem is not the norm.

Not the best part of DC

The accomodations were good but the area was not very good. I heard lots of sirens throughout the night and the DC Metro Police advised me not to walk around at night and to cab it in from 2 subway stops away (not good).

The entrance was filthy as if transients were sleeping there and the security screen didn't lock.
