Enjoy the quite cove on 700+ acre Balch Lake in the Adirondack chairs or on the 400 sq ft deck. 3 Bed, 2 Bath large Home Updated kitchen with new appliances, dishwasher, microwave, free washer and dryer, cable, wireless high speed internet, VCR, DVD, Phone (free long distance within the US), stereo/CD player, gas grill, dock, wood burning stove, patio furniture, and outdoor fire pit. Summer attractions include swimming, great fishing and use the lake marina to launch your own boat or jet ski. Row boat available for your use. Golf, skiing, hiking and horseback riding are less then 20 min away. North Conway outlet shops and White Mountains are 45 minutes north. Wolfboro and Lake Winnepausaukee are 20 min east. Winter attractions include snowmobiling on the state trails (right out the front door), cross-country skiing right outside your door and downhill skiing at King Pine Ski Resort is 20 minutes away

Great and Relaxing Vacation

We had a great and relacing vacation! The only issue we had was that both of your propane tanks were empty, so we filled one of them.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. I would be happy to reimburse you for the propane tank. Going forward, I will make sure there are three propane tanks for the summer rentals. Hope to see you again next year!

The accommodations were very nice. I have to agree that the beds were not so comfortable.Loved the deck & there were plenty of beach chairs.The fire pit & grill were nice.Bonus points for the washer & dryer! We enjoyed floating in the lake but were greatly disappointed with the amount of lake weed. We are all about the swimming & beyond the 6 ft gravel area was very weedy. We took our floats & kayaks out into the middle of the lake to try and swim without getting tangled in weed. I realize that is the nature of some lakes, but I specifically asked about weeds. I felt the pictures were a little deceiving as you did not see the close proximity of the neighbors or the 5 flights of stairs down to the water. Kayak lugging was not fun! I think this house is a great vacation spot for those with younger kids who stay within the shallow weed free area. Not great for avid swimmers or people who can't do a lot of stairs. Was quiet as far as lake traffic, even out in the middle of lake, at the end of the cove there was hardly any boating.Floating out in the lake in 80-90% weather all week made this a relaxing vacation.Owner pleasant & helpful!

This is a great house! Very roomy lots of space for kids. Beach is very nice we had a great time spending the days there. Although there a lot of stairs to get down to the beach so at the end of the day when your tired from swimming it's a little difficult. The only other thing that I would like to say is that the beds are extremely uncomfortable! All and All we had a fun and relaxing time.
