Hiking//Bird Watching /Photography Details: The location of the house on the Osa Peninsula near the protected Corcovado National Park and Cabo Matapalo allows you to see lots of wildlife, like howler monkeys, white face monkeys, sloths, iguanas, frogs, scarlet macaws, toucans ,ibis ,crocodiles and an occasional small cat and jaguar. The property is covered with huge native tropical rainforest trees and flowers as well as lush fruit trees., noni fruit ,mango's, papaya, limes ,oranges ,and bananas for your breakfast.

Yoga: There is a yoga facility nearby where classes can be scheduled for a fee.

Fishing/Surfing/Walking on beach: There are several charter boats available, including Crocodile Bay Resort, and local guides for both saltwater big game fishing and river fishing for snook etc. The surf can usually be found right out back, where you will be the only ones in the water, or several great spots where local knowledge helps pick the right wave for shortboards or longboards.

Golf: Hiking to waterfalls, and horseback riding on the beach, and golf at some of the resorts.

Guest Book: Waking up to the smell of fresh Costa Rican coffee, and the sounds of the macaws flying overhead was a great way to start my vacation. After a breakfast of mango, papaya, eggs and other healthy smoothies from fresh noni's on the property, a walk down to the beach,on a path lined with pink and red ginger and orange heliconia's, coconut palms, and magnificent old rainforest trees, filled with monkeys jumping branch to branch as if to say look up and take my picture. Settling in to the hammocks under the shade of the trees and listening to the waves and seabreeze, while deciding if today we would surf, fish, or hike to a waterfall in the Corcovado Nationl Park. Or just hang out, read a book, and relax, and enjoy one of the most pristine places still left on this planet.
