Enter Brae Cottage after parking under a peak roofed car port. Inside find a large living room with cathedral ceiling & fireplace that opens on to a covered porch. A queen sized Murphy bed folds out of the wall. The bedroom has a queen sized bed & large closet. The bath has a whirlpool tub & a separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining room seats 6 to 8. Includes air conditioning, washer, dryer & dishwasher. Next door is High Meadow B&B with accommodations for up to 7. Brae Cottage is in a rural area, surrounded by 70 acres of open meadow & woodland & overlooks a swimming pond. Located in Central Connecticut it is within driving distance of most tourist sites. In addition to walking the property, the blue-blazed hiking trails of CT Forest & Park Ass has an access just one mile from the Cottage. The many types of habitat in this area make for happy birders. New Haven is near with its theaters and museums. Hammonassett Beach is a 25 mile trip.
