Description of the Ventura vacation cottage rental
Watch the sunset from the deck or enjoy an early morning walk to the local Starbucks. Walk, bike ride, surf or sunbath, whatever you desire to do it's your vacation. The house and area is charming, fun filled and family friendly. A beautiful, clean and uncrowded beach is perfect for a weekend getaway or two week vacation.
From rolling hills to sweeping ocean views, reminiscent of a European seaside village and compared to Hawaii’s mainland; the City of Ventura is located 63 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 27 miles south of Santa Barbara. Its warm Mediterranean climate and wonderful quality of life are a few of the reasons many call Ventura home. Downtown~'Old Town' Ventura while not a specific activity is a cornucopia of treats. Whale watching, body surfing or just relaxing in the sun, Ventura Pier and Beach is for you and your family to enjoy. So little time to enjoy what is really important, you and your family. Rejuvenate, it only takes a weekend.

Rent bikes and ride to the Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center located in the nearby Ventura Marina. Hop on board one of the cruise boats that take you out to the Islands for a truly great hiking experience. A Whale watching cruise during the winter is a must.
