Lovely beach home only 100 feet from the beach dune walkover. The home has new furnishings and bedding. The best thing about this home is the location. The beach is the best Anna Maria has to offer. This beach has a wide area of the sugar white sand and surf. You are only 5 blocks south of the famous Sand Bar restaurant and within walking distance of the Rod And Reel fishing pier and the Anna Maria City pier. There are many thing to do here as well. There are many boutiques, 5 star restaurants, an Island play house, Ice cream parlors and beach shops all within walking distance. The Free trolley stops at the end of our street and will take you most anywhere on the island for Free. This Home is only 1 hr. from Tampa Int. Airport and Busch Gardens Theme park. The home is on Anna Maria Island in the town of historic Anna Maria. This is the northern tip of the island. It borders the south edge of Tampa Bay. The home is on the west side of the island so the sunsets are spectacular! The home is very easy to locate once you arrive in Florida, Just follow Manatee ave to where it 'dead ends' to the west and you are here. It is a short drive from the airport about 50 minutes. Anna Maria is in the center of Florida so driving to Disney and Orlando area is a breeze. It will take about 2 hours to get to Orlando from Anna Maria. There is lots to do locally too. We are just west of Sarasota and Bradenton. These are two large towns and will have everything that isn't on the Island. Like Jungle Gardens , Busch Gardens, Dasoto Park, Large shopping mall along with outlet malls. The shopping there is great! There is also a huge amount of choices for eating out on and off the Island.

Notes: This home comes with a full kitchen with all you need to cook what you bring or buy. The living room is very roomy and large with 2 sofas and easy chair and lovely carved wood tables. The entire home is tiled and is very easy to clean. We supply a wagon for beach toys , rafts, beach chairs, floaters, and beach games for you and your guests to enjoy. There are three bikes in the garage that you can use and go for a ride around the island. The back patio is very private and great for entertaining. We supply a charcoal Weber grill a table with chairs and 3 chase lounge chairs for sunning. We have an out door shower for when you come from the beach you can rinse off the sand. The bedrooms are all very private as well being a split floor plan all the guests will sleep soundly.

Very close to the Sand Bar Restaurant: This is the perfect location if you are to attend a wedding at the Sand Bar Restaurant We are only 5 block South down the beach. This makes this home great for the entire family.

Discover The Beach and off shore Islands: There are Islands off shore that at times when low tide comes you can walk to. The water is about waist deep at the deepest. This area is north of the home about 15 blocks. Its fun to explore and go shelling along miles of the white sand beaches.

Explore the sites: There are many sites and history to discover on Anna Maria and surrounding area. Explore' Eggmont Key' an old abandon Island off shore where they use to have the fort that protected Tampa Bay from invasion of our enemies throughout the years. The Mote Museum is where you will find a working aquarium and ecology center. Learn about the marine environment and what we can do to save the planet. This is a great place to bring the whole family. ' My kids love it!'

Stayed here for 3,5 weeks. Have been a party of five, two adults three kids. Very nice and quiet location, close to a very nice part of the beach, located in anna maria city the nicest part on the island (Holmes Beach, Bradenton not half as nice). House itself in good basic condition, good value for money. Has a nice Floridian look. All appliances worked. Strong recommendation for families.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: This home has a split floor plan so everyone has their privacy. New a/c in the back bed room makes it very comfortable.The home is located in the heart of Anna Maria.
The Ice cream parlor is only 2 blocks away. Enjoy a leisure lunch at the Sand Bar Restaurant which is only 3 block down the beach. The beach itself is very nice here.
There are predominantly single family home in this area so the beach is not crowded as in the areas with condos.

Enjoy yourself and experience paradise at the Coconut Palms Beach House.

This was our first visit to Anna Maria and we loved it! The house is in a fabulous location. My husband and I and our two grandchildren spent 3 days .... The house was clean, the bed linens were in good shape...the kitchen had everything we needed. The back bedroom and bathroom are brand new, but no AC, there is a ceiling fan.. The girls like the privacy in the back bedroom so they did not mind it was warmer than the rest of the house...We would definitley go back...there is plenty of room in the house, We hope to stay next year for a week or more....Hope they have a new larger kitchen table and more chairs by then..
