Tropical paradise awaits you on the sixth floor in Copacabana. Built in 2001 and located in a quaint and safe neighborhood just four blocks from the famous Copacabana beach. The apartment can be rented as a 1 bedroom or a 2 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms are appointed with double beds and custom built-in cabinets. Just off the bedrooms is the bathroom with a shower. The efficient kitchenette is connected to the living room by a granite breakfast bar with seating for two. The living room has a sofa, an entertainment center, and a dining area. The unit also boasts two balconies, one in the living room with lateral views to the ocean and mountains. The other balcony is in the main bedroom facing the pool and recreation area. For your protection the unit is equipped with fire sprinklers and a 24 hour doorman. Near by you will also find major hotels, restaurants, and shops for your business or pleasure. The Siqueira Campos and the Cantagalo Metro stations are within walking distance.

The apartment is located between Posto 4 and Posto 5 in a safe and tranquil neighborhood in Copacabana. It is just 4 blocks from the beach. Here you will find yourself in the middle of numerous hotels, restaurants, and shops. The new JW Mariott is just a few blocks away from the apartment. In the evening you can walk to the weekend Copacabana Night Fair on Avenida Atlantica along the beach and view the local artists display their works. The Cantagalo Metro Station and Siqueira Campos Metro Station are within a walking distance from the apartment. On Sundays, just a short distance away, you can go to Ipanema and shop for arts and crafts at the Hippie Fair. Major sightseeing attractions such as, Christo Redentor on Corcovado and the Pao do Acucar (Sugarloaf) can be reached by a short taxi drive.

We just came back from being in Rio and staying in this great apartment. The location could not be more convenient, very close to beach & the metro which is easy to use and takes you close to many places in the city (we took the metro closest to where we wanted to visit, e.i. Sugar Loaf, Museum, Jardin Botanico, and then sometimes would take a cab, this saved us money since the traffic could be just terrible). We went grocery shopping in the near supermarket also.The place itself has great security and new facilities. The aparment has everything that you might need: plates, utensils, lots of towels, clean/new sheets, wifi and TV. Very clean plus housekeeping came twice to tidy up the place.
I was very happy with our choice. It was a very comfortable place to be. The pictures & description are very accurate.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

What a beautiful and cosy little nest.

The pictures of this apartment are enticing but they do not prepare you for the reaction you will have when you first walk in the door. It is small in total area but beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. The hosts have provided valuable information that will enhance your trip from where to eat to what to see and more. The apartment is ideally located and within a short 4 block walk to the beach. The only limitation with this apartment is the number of people it will accomodate but no matter how you look at it, it is a bargain at the price the owner is asking. I will be returning to Rio in the near future and I intend to stay here again if the apartment is available. You could spend more but probably wouldn't get more. The owners are marvelous hosts who have provided you with everything to make your stay enjoyable. There is a garage if you have a car and a doorman 24-7. I do not recommend renting a car. Traffic is so bad you will soon tire of the insanity of traffic that hardly moves and drivers who drive like they are escapes from a go-cart race track. Cabs and buses are plentyful and affordable.

This was a great apartment. Very accurate description to what is advertised. Nice apartment full of trinkets and "stuff" with a tropical feel. Great location - easy walk to the beach, buses, very close to the supermarkets, bars and juice places nearby etc. Apartment had everything we needed. Was great to be able to collapse in the middle of the day before heading off somewhere else. Comfy lounge and great bed! Couldn't get the CD players to actually play a full CD but maybe that was our fault. Reinaldo was excellent and helping get everything organised before we arrived, and Lamartine helped with everything in Rio. Very stress-free and easy - highly recommended.
