Within walking distance to town, this family built home is located in the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres a couple of blocks behind the Helen Water Park. Innsbruck Golf Resort is only three blocks away. You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. On most days you will see wild turkeys walking through the yard. The home features two large bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds, 26' LCD flat screen TV's, and a private full bath in each. The living room has a 32' LCD flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee at the breakfast island in the beautiful full kitchen or in the dining area. There's also a large full bath with a double vanity and a separate laundry room. If you want the feeling of seclusion, but want to be close to all of Helen's activities, then this is the place for you. Stay at our cabin and you'll be glad you did. We hope that you will come again and again.

Helen, Georgia, located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains in White County on Hwy 75, 85 miles north of Atlanta, is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. Alpine Helen has many attractions including a dinner theatre, water park, golf resort, Unicoi State Park, panning for gold, carriage/horseback riding, mountain climbing, waterfalls, river tubing, hot air balloon races, golf, miniature golf, hiking, go-cart rides, amusement park, antiquing, trout fishing, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, Black Bear Park & Exhibit, and over 200 specialty and import shops and restaurants. Helen has one of the nation's longest Oktoberfests each year, September 10 through November 1 in 2009.

Privately Owned: This cabin is privately owned and managed. As owners, we want every guest to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy their stay. We are never too far away if needed. Unlike property management companies, we take pride in our cabin, provide personal touches, and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do.

Helen Water Park: The new Helen Water Park is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. It's located only a couple of blocks from the cabin. For $15.00 you can purchase an all day pass to the park which also includes all day river tubing down the Chattahoochee.

Complimentary Bottle of Wine!: A complimentary bottle of red or white wine is provided to all guests, if desired.

Other Activities: panning for gold, river tubing, shopping, mini-golf, go-carts, carriage rides

BEAUTIFUL HOME IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS, WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT, SO PEACEFUL AND RELAXING. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, WELL- MAINTAINED, SPACIOUS, WE COULDNT FAULT ANYTHING. THANKS AGAIN.

PERFECTION!

This was an idyllic site for our annual get together with a couple who are dear friends. We could not have asked for anything to be improved. This "cottage" is actually a beautiful home with many upscale touches. Being able to "cook in' when we wanted was a real plus since some of us had specific dietary needs. It truly has all the comforts of home and then some. The decor is lovely, and the surroundings are quiet and private. It is close to all that Helen and the environs has to offer. Gary and Terry really go the extra mile for their guests. We will surely return and have already recommended to friends.

Sue and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and my birthday at your wonderful home. It rained a little, but we still had a great time. Your beautiful place was so well equipped, comfortable, homey and fun. We cooked in several nights, which we enjoy. I never saw the bear, but I did look quite often. We will see you again next year.

This is absolutely a remarkable place to stay! It's in close proximity of everything to do in Helen.
The property exceeded our expectations in how well it was maintained as well as the overall cleanliness.
The owners have thought of everything and make your stay the best it can be. Their hospitality is wonderful.
If we ever come to this area again, this is where we will stay.
