Composed of two separate bedrooms, living and dining rooms, this apartment presents exceptionally high ceilings with patisserie moldings, high gloss parquet floors enhanced with oriental rugs, carved marble fireplaces, bright off-white walls, high windows with rod iron half-balconies, various artwork, and tasteful furnitures. Fully furnished and equipped, this charming and upscale apartment is filled with light and sun and the living/dining room offers unobstructed view. The tasteful decor promotes a feeling of deep comfort, calm, relaxation and space in an uncluttered environment.

Perfect location and very safe. Metro is 1/2 block away and so are the buses. A Butcher directly across the street and a bakery on the corner, who had time to cook? Plus good restaurants in all directions. You had everything you could want within two blocks. The apartment was charming with floor to ceiling windows and so very French. Three women and two teenagers and we were not on top of each other. The owner sent a detailed list of suggestions for shops, restaurants, including a Hospital that was very close and that I had to use. She was very helpful. There was a TV that was never turned on. I would recommend this to family and friends.
My family stayed at this location for an eight day vacation in Paris. It was exactly as described, beautiful, comfortable, and centrally located to major shopping/sights/transportation. The owner was easy to work with and provided an extensive list of suggestions and helpful hints. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to families with child who are looking for an alternative to hotels.
My family had a lovely time in Paris Christmas week. The location of this apartment is super convenient and also away from the crowds! It is a nice, roomy apartment and we were very comfortable - 4 adults - and enjoyed living in the local style. Grocery shops, pastries, and the best chocolates and cheese shops right around the corner. The subway, buses, and taxi stand are just a few meters away, so easy to get to the main tourist attractions within minutes. Most of all, it was great to come home after being in the Christmas bustle and relax in the quiet of this neighborhood. Property was clean and the beds comfortable. Sheets and towels were changed as described in the listing. Shower has good water pressure and ample supply of hot water. Kitchen has full range-top and small oven/toaster, so easy to cook light meals. The area is very safe, and we all felt comfortable walking at all times of day and night. Elevator is handy too - European style - so fits one or two - for seniors and those who are just tired from walking all day! Owner was very generous with her recommendations of restaurants, shops, etc. and answered all our questions beforehand. I recommend visiting Lenôtre for chocolates and fabulous pastries. It is just around the corner. It was very, very busy Christmas eve with people picking up multiple boxes of chocolates!
This apartment is just as described and as the pictures showed. The bedrooms are good size and beds are comfortable. The apartment itself and the building were very clean & well maintained, with recyclable containers in the courtyard and trash containers in a small room off the courtyard. The Wifi was great, making looking up maps and information easy. My mother has trouble with stairs, so the elevator (lift) was a huge help. The washer & dryer were a great convenience especially on the day we got caught in a rain storm! :) There is a main line metro stop about 1 block away and it connects to multiple other lines which made traveling around the city very easy. There is also a bus stop less than 1/2 block away that we decided to use a few times when my mom was not up to walking the metro steps. The small markets around the area were nice and since we chose not to eat out much, the bigger market about 2 blocks east made shopping for daily meals very convenient. The owner was very nice, easy to work with and sent a list of details for the apartment along with many suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc. for the area, which we much appreciated. The owner also answered any questions we had and was prompt in the replies. One minor note, the street in front of the building does get pretty busy during rush hour (about 8:30 - 9:30 am) & could get a bit noisy when we had the windows open, but with the windows closed, it was hardly noticeable. By staying in this apartment vs. a hotel, it made our trip much more affordable (not having to eat out every meal) and much more comfortable by being able to stretch out and not be confined to a small hotel room and I would definitely recommend this listing.
It is so hard to find a good place to stay in Paris if you have a family. This apartment is so wonderful, so comfortable, clean, with easy access to metro, in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, and just right for hanging around and walking to the park one day when you need to relax. This apartment really enabled us to enjoy our stay so much more fully. The owner is so helpful and lovely, and the neighborhood is very friendly, we enjoyed walking across the street for shopping, groceries, dinner. So convenient! You can even do your laundry here as the kitchen has a small washer and dryer which for us was a big help. The apartment is a great experience in itself, its a circa-1900 building with the old style apartment, a fireplace in every room. A very romantic way to experience Paris yet have the ability to slow down a bit as if you were home. We hope to return one day for another memorable visit.
A very helpful owner who provided many useful details such as nearby restaurants, shopping, etc. Very close to metro line 1 and in a very nice and friendly neighborhood. Many of the restaurants were ones you not simply stumble across but were hidden away and used by locals. We enjoyed them very much.
It seemed tobe a local and affluent neighborhood away from the hordes of tourists which was very enjoyable..
The apartment was perfect for two parents with 2 girls (9 &12 y.o.)
I would recommend the apartment to others but be aware there is no pool or computer as claimed and the advertised view "from the apartment of the Arc de Triomphe" does not exist.
Overall we had a fantastic time.

Not surprisingly the setting is very reminiscent of the wonderful old Tavern on the Green in Manhattan’s Central Park, but this park is Paris. The Bois de Boulogne is also an ideal place for jogging, bicycling or playing tennis. You are at walking distance of Foundation LOUIS VUITTON MUSEUM built by architect FRANK GEHRY. The museum just opened in November 2014 and is attracting thousands of people per day (No need to go to Bilbao).
The apartment is surrounded with gourmet stores, bakeries (one next door) including

Within a few minutes walk, there is also an outdoor market , 3 times a week, where you can find anything from food to jewelry and clothes( even designers markdowns). Also fashion boutiques, art galleries, Clarins Spa (next to Clarins headquarter), one tea salon accross the street from the apartment, 147 cafes and restaurants of all kinds.Even an Irish pub. Cinema and theater, minutes from the apartment. Also this area is the home of many celebrities, authors, politicians, as well as international corporations, the New York Times, Gaumont films.
If you rent a car, there is free parking on all streets around the apartment during the month of August. Otherwise,there are parkmeters, as well as a 24/7 attended parking within 3 minutes walk. I must add that every one loves the apartment, its comfort, its parisian neighborood and its convenient location.
