Fantastic view sells it for me!

My wife and I have recently returned from a stay at Aphrodite Hills.
This apartment was a terrific base to stay. It was clean, had a fantastic view as shown in the photographs and was walking distance to the golf club, which suited me, and a short stroll to the swimming pool which suited my wife!
If you want to cook in, the facilities are available. If not, the restaurants at the resort are good, without the need to drive anywhere. Alternatively, Pissouri Village is about a ten minute drive with places such as the Bunch of Grapes and Hill View offering good food for anywhere between EUR60-100 for two.
It's hard to review this apartment beyond the view. The view is fabulous. You can see the sea, the ravine and the beautiful seventh hole over the ravine and the eighth which plays to a green looking out to the Med.
The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Towels were left in the apartment meaning you needn't bring any and a lovely touch was leaving a few essentials in the fridge such as a large bottle of beer, milk & tea & coffee. We actually got to meet them briefly as they had being staying in the apartment for the previous three weeks and were on their way to the airport.
You won't feel out of touch with home if you need to with BBC World, Sky News & Sky Sports 1 & 3! Check with your mobile operator if you need 3G web access however. Despite buying a roaming download package from O2, my iPhone failed to connect with a text on the penultimate day asking me to connect to my PC to download the latest software!!
I would defintely recommend the apartment to couples. If you want to sleep four using the sofabed, you'll all want to go to bed at the same time however!
The apartment offers the possibility of doing nothing, relaxing by the pool. Engaging in sports activities such as tennis, golf or horse riding. Walking through the nature trails within the Aphrodite Hills resort. Or venturing out to visit mountains, 2,000 year old ancient sites such as at near by Kourion or Paphos, or hurling yourself down a water slide at Fisouri park in Limassol.
As hot as it was in August, it was perfectly bearable. The aircon in the flat keeps things cool inside quickly aswell. Finally, you can manage well enough without a car if you concern is pool time. However, I would recommend hiring a car.
