Alaska Little Bear Vacation Rental is a year round, fully furnished 2 story townhouse accommodation in a country suburban setting, in Chugiak, Alaska. Chugiak is centrally located: 15 minutes to Anchorage, 15 minutes to Palmer-Wasilla and 5 minutes to Eagle River. Upstairs we have 3 bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a king size bed, one has a full size and one has bunk-beds: 1 full and 1 twin. On the main floor is the living room with sleeper-sofa, futon and fireplace, a half-bath, private laundry area, full kitchen with dishwasher, a back deck with patio set and BBQ. The fenced in back yard has a border garden where the hosts are always adding or changing plants to improve your viewing pleasure.

Some activities close to Alaska Little Bear Vacation Rental: the local hike/bike trail meanders along the freeway to Eagle River and all the way to Anchorage for the adventurous; the Ptarmigan hiking trail is about 5 minutes away; the Eklutna Lake exit is 7 minutes north on the Glenn Highway ; the Eagle River Nature Center is approx. a 30 minute scenic drive through the mountains; 15 minutes north in the Palmer-Wasilla area is a Musk Ox Farm and a Reindeer Farm.

This was a very nice, modern and comfortable house to call ours while we were on our first Alaskan adventure. The setting was just as promised--country suburban--and was conveniently located near everything we needed. Very nicely cared for by the owners and very reasonably priced compared to other properties within 20 mile range. Lots of things to do nearby, especially if you love fishing!

Drawbacks--shared backyard with owner; for those with disabilities this property may be difficult to deal with entry and inside stairs.
