This was by far the best place we stayed in Italy! We were at this apartment for six nights and could have stayed another week. We never tired of the shops, cafes and restaurants and especially gelato within walking distance. This was also truly a place to relax and let my kids walk and explore on their own. We felt completely safe as the tourist flooded the town by day and we had the place to ourselves at night. We loved, loved the amenities. The grocery store was a hike to get to, but it allowed for great exercise. THe owners were more than kind and ready to help at every moment. They stood ready to meet us, always available when we had questions and we absolutely loved the charm and history of it. The bathrooms and kitchen was dated and not well stocked, but everything else made up for it. We spent many hours watching life go by out the tower window. We saw a wedding, a funeral, a carnival, a marching band and many happy people walking through the square that it overlooks. Grazie for sharing your home with us. It couldn't have been better.
