Just relax at our beach or dock, fish for salmon, trout, bass, take a canoe ride, or watch the Red Sox on our large screen TV.

Indoors or out, spring is a wonderful time to explore the diversity and beauty of Maine. Mark the end of winter by attending a boat, flower, or car show. Visit a marsh and spot herons, ducks, bald eagles and egrets. Take a cruise on the bay or in the harbor and visit several interesting islands. Attend a ballgame to watch the Portland Sea Dogs or drive to Boston (only 2.5 hours away) to see the Red Sox play a game. Visit the Maine Wildlife Park or attend one of L.L. Bean's spring weekends. Take day trips to Boothbay Harbor, Kennebunkport, New Hampshire or a weekend visiting Canada. There is so much to do, but most of our guests choose to relax and enjoy the beauty of our cottage and Sebago Lake.

We provide our guests with travel books of Maine and listings of local events. We are more than happy to provide 'things to see and do' information and suggestions to you.

ALL SEASONS in Maine are everything you'd expect and even more. Maine is an outdoor wonderland: lighthouses, fishing, lobster, wild blueberry pie, golfing, shopping outlets, whale and puffin watching, sandy beaches, colorful scenic drives, museums, hiking, boating, antiquing, and other dramatic things to see. MAINE IS SPECTACULAR! There is so much to experience and so little time that you'll probably be planning your next visit before you leave. Shed your winter blues for a first-class cabin in Maine on Big Sebago Lake this spring.

Sebago Lake is one of the cleanest bodies of water in the world. Sebago Lake is a large open lake, and the water is so clean that it provides the drinking water for Portland. The cottage is located on an acre of grassy land that slopes to a sandy beach and incredible mountain views. There is shallow water for bathing and deep water for boating.

It is CENTRALLY LOCATED in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, yet minutes away from shopping, activities, and restaurants. Your may bring or rent a boat and moor it on the mooring ball, or use the canoe. AT NIGHT, ALL WATER CRAFT MUST BE ON THE MOORING BALL OR BEACHED. If you like to fish, there is plenty of salmon, bass, and trout. Watch and listen to the loons from the comfortable rockers overlooking lovely perennial gardens. The cottage is attractively decorated, spotless, and completely furnished. There are two bedrooms and a sleeping loft with ladder access. Our rental period is from April 1 through November 2 with a one week minimum stay (Saturday to Saturday). This is a no-pet property located in an upscale neighborhood.

Sebago Lake is fun for all seasons.

We take great pride in our cottage and keep it in immaculate shape and clean. Our goal is to supply guest renters with an experience greater than what they expected.

We consider this location on Big Sebago Lake as 'Paradise', which is why our home is located next door.

Please read the many reviews by guests who have stayed at the cottage.

STAYING HERE FEELS LIKE HOME

Bob and Marian,
As they say, time flies when you're having fun and these three weeks certainly did that. As always, we had a very relaxing time even though the weather didn't cooperate. Staying here feels like home - comfy and cozy. The pies were delicious as usual. Rich and I are already looking forward to next year. Stay healthy both of you - have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we'll see you next year. Take care.

PERFECT IS MORE ACCURATE

Another memorable and enjoyable week - no, perfect is more accurate - in your lovely cottage again this year. It always makes Sebago feel like it's still our vacation home again - good memories brought back and good times again - feel good "stuff" all 'round.
Also, can't thank you both enough for all your special touches - garden flowers inside and out, apple pie, ice cream, and your hostess package to bring our stay to mind all through the winter months. All good wishes for a restful and happy end to your summer. The Sebago calendar and pictures will remind us each day!
Best wishes,
Lorraine and Ted

Dear Marian and Bob,
Thank you for the welcome gift and delicious cherry pie with ice cream! Your cottage is lovely and gardens are beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much, it was peaceful and relaxing. We stayed by the lake during the day, water is very warm here! In the afternoon we read books on the porch and would get a visit from a hummingbird every evening. You have a lovely place! Thanks again for everything!
