Sebago Lake Cottage Rental Photos and Description
CLEAN COTTAGE ON BEAUTIFUL SEBAGO LAKE
Welcome to the great state of Maine! Will Rogers once remarked 'Did you ever see a place that looked like it was built to enjoy?' That's how Maine looks. It's the beautiful scenery, the fresh air, wilderness, friendly people and pristine bodies of water. Our cottage is located directly on Sebago Lake, the seventh cleanest body of water in the world. You can fish for trout, bass, and salmon from our dock or take the rowboat and explore the lake. The gentle sloping acre of land and lovely gardens provide an ideal spot. On a clear day, out on the lake, you can see the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Sit on the porch or on comfortable rockers and watch the bald eagle, humming birds, loons, and ducks pass bye. Swim from the dock or sandy beach and enjoy a cookout at the beach. Our cottage is located ideally for day trips to picturesque light houses, L.L. Bean and Freeport, North Conway, and Kittery shopping outlets, fabulous dining in Portland, (one of the ten best cities in the USA for restaurants), island boat trips, entertainment, and so much more. Just let us know what your interests are and we will provide information and a calendar of events. Maine is truly a scenic wonder. We are taking reservations from April to November 2015, and we'd love to have you spend some time enjoying the natural splendor of Maine.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Marian and Bob - Thank you for making this heavenly secluded spot so perfect. It is like "On Golden Pond" even with loons on the lake. We enjoyed so many sunny days sitting by the lake, as well as watching the foliage grow more colorful each day as we drove around the area. We enjoyed fresh steamed lobsters three times - Hannaford's is a great place to get whatever size you want. Had delicious sweet Italian Sausage from the Butcher next to the laundromat. Ate haddock chowder and sweet treats and great quiche from Chipman's (farm), as well as sandwiches from the Good Life (market). Ate twice at Black Bear Tavern in Naples - great Shepherd's Pie - and a good steak at Rustler's. Loved the play in Qgunquit (playhouse), the Portland Museum of Art, and shopping in Freeport.
One of the most unique memories will be the sound of acorns falling on the roof! This cottage is homey and fully equipped. You have thought of everything - including pie and wine! Thank you to both of you.
