Our villa “Scorchio” is near Alicante, Costa Blanca, Spain. Located in a cul-de-sac, the villa has comfortable accommodation for 5 or 6 people. It has air-conditioning/heating, 3 bedrooms (bedrooms 1 & 2 are set up as twins, the third bedroom can be set up as a single or double and there is also a sofa bed for occasional use), 2 bathrooms (both with bath and shower), a spacious lounge/dining room, front terrace with table and chairs, and a very private rooftop Solarium for sunbathing and relaxing. The property is fully equipped with linen and towels, and is cleaned before arrival and on departure. The well-equipped kitchen includes washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and hob. We have multi-channel TV and UK radio stations. The shared swimming pool, open only to residents and visitors, is only 40 metres away. There is also a public pool with bar/restaurant, loungers and parasols within easy walking distance. This is a non-smoking property.

La Marina is only 20 minutes drive from Alicante Airport, and only 5 minutes from endless sandy beaches. For the golfer, there is a choice of half a dozen fine courses within 45 minutes drive, the closest being only 20 minutes away. Within walking distance from “Scorchio” are bars, restaurants, a fine supermarket, banks and shops. Also a short walk away there is a pool complex equipped with children’s' pool, comfortable loungers, shade and snack bar where you can spend a relaxing day at a modest cost. Car hire is recommended to get the best out of the area but there is a regular bus service to surrounding areas.

Golf: This part of the Costa Blanca is host to many superb golf courses – probably far more than you’ll find in many parts of the Costa del Sol. The best known are probably Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca, but there are several others including Alicante, El Plantio, Alenda, La Marquesa, Altoreal & Bonalba. La Manga is only about an hour away! We can help you to book your golf rounds and obtain competitive prices (it’s well worth booking in advance if you are planning a golf trip). All of these courses can offer clubs, trolleys and buggies for hire.

Our stay at Scorchio - La Marina

I have just returned from staying at Scorchio with my family and I would like to say that our stay was excellent - totally hassle free from booking to returning. The property was clean and well maintained and the owner provided excellent customer service and communications were also excellent. We visited many bars and restaurants as we know La Marina very well and the villa was ideally located.
A visit to the Safari is Elche is great for all the family as is a trip to the Island of Tabarca from Santa Pola. I would definitely recommend staying at Scorchio and I would rent it again.
