Fajardo Vacation Rental apartment

I've done quite a few condo rentals on vacation (have done another one in PR before – Palmas Del Mar, Humacao) and this place was one of the best. It had all the supplies we needed and the place looked as good in person as it did in the photos (sometimes the photos can be QUITE misleading. The place was very clean and had loads of wonderful towels (sometimes an issue). The in-unit washer/dryer is invaluable when you want to dry towels in the 85% humidity.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd suggest would be giving people the actual address of the complex when they sign the contract. We got lost driving there (asked a UPS guy who gave us great directions) and the car service that brought our friends got lost, too. The driver said the directions weren't correct, but I can’t verify that. Streets in Fajardo rarely have signs so a good GPS or Google Maps app is a huge benefit. We couldn't plan out routes to activities until we got down there without the address.

But the lack of advance mapping didn’t stop us from having a fabulous time. We toured the Bio Bay, went Snuba diving and snorkling, spent the day at the Golden Door Spa at El Conquistador, went to Seven Seas Beach and spent time in San Juan. Fajardo is an hour from San Juan and we had no problem going back and forth in our rental car (a must). You cannot walk to the beach but the complex has great pools, all steps away from the unit.

I would totally recommend this place to my friends who weren’t already there with me.

My family spent 1 week in April 2009 at this fabulous condo. I have rented several vacation homes over the past 10+ years and I must say that this one is right up at the top. The condo was clean, spacious and well supplied. It was so nicely decorated and so comfortable. Best of all were the views, one great picture after another. Loved to sit on the porch and watch the boats coming in and out of the 2 marinas. Beautiful sunrises and we even saw a rainbow. The pools were great and the gym had several pieces of equipment as well as free weights. Everyone we met at the condo complex greeted us and made us feel welcome. The owner was in touch with us several times to make sure that all of our needs were met and answered all of our questions. Condo was very close to shopping centers, Luquillo beach and the ferries to Vieques and Culebra. So much to do in the area; we ran out of time :(

We loved everything about the accomodations. AC control in each room including 3 BRs, The view was the most spectacular of any we had wittnessed on any water front property. The sun came up every morning over a distant island to a 180 degree view of Fajardo's most beautiful lagoon from the wide,furnished balcony..This is the best view in Puerto Rico. Also the complex is totally secure, private, and just minutes from The El Conquistador resort where we accessed their private beach. The smartly dressed uniformed guards were professional and polite..
