This is no shack! Named after Lobster man Captain Jack himself, who’s carved likeness stands at the wheel watching over passers by. This immaculately furnished 2300 square foot, four bedroom home has ample room for a large group to sleep socialize, and just relax. Featuring spacious open Living room, Kitchen, Dinning room and Bar Area. The two first floor Master Bedrooms are newly furnished (as are many areas of the house). One of the Master Bedrooms is located in a private wing of the house with full Master bath and Jacuzzi tub. Both master bedrooms open on to a 600 square foot Mahogany Deck with built-in hot tub, stepping off the deck to a well maintained yard with an open air Fire Pit.

Nearest Beach: beach at 5.0 Miles
58 miles from Logan and 60 miles from T.F. Green Airports. Conveniently located in a quiet rural setting, on a private road. This property is centrally located to many activities. With the Cape Cod Canal just a short distance away, you can enjoy six miles of biking, fishing, walking, roller blade, or picnic along the busy water way. The Canal is well know for large striped bass fishing beginning in May and running through November. Area beach’s also near by are Monument Beach (with boat ramp) Monks Park, Grey Gables beach and Back River Estuary. Many restaurants and fine dining establishments as well as shopping are close by. There are many family activities such as a water park, arcade and bowling alley, ice skating rink, museums, whale watching and more.

A fantastic property with everthing you'd ever need included, sometimes even things you didn't think you'd need too!! From bikes to cocktail glasses we were amazed at how well everything was prepared and presented. Far from being a "shack" this beatiful house has room for two families or a large group of friends. The owners encourage their guests to give feedback and it was great reading them and getting ideas of local eating places of which there are lots to choose from!
The house was beatifully clean with fresh flowers waiting on our arrival, a true home from home. Coming from a stay in Boston we arrived early to miss the 4 July traffic and although the house wasn't quite ready for us we were able to wait in the lovely outdoor area. The owners sister-in -law explained everything we needed to know and even gave us her phone number if we had any problems.
We couldn't have asked for anything more and the house's location meant that we were able to explore Cape Cod easily, even managing to fit in a day trip to Martha's Vineyard.
Although a car is essential for getting around it was great to come back at the end of the day to the comfort of the "shack" with its great outdoor space and hot tub as well as its indoor comforts.
A fantastic house and one that we'd love to go back to.

Even though we arrived late Joe was there to greet us. We were amazed at the house, so clean and accommodating and it surpassed anything we expected. As we dined at the house every day we were particularly pleased with the kitchen which was very well stocked. The bedrooms were large and comfortable as was the lounge. We found Bourne to be the perfect place to stay for visiting both the Cape and the coast up to and above Boston. All in all a 10 out of 10 holiday and one that we'd recommend to anyone.
Owner's Response: We were glad to see that this family had a good time. And were pleased with everything. We take great pride in having our house being the perfect vacation spot.
