Day hikes abound for all fitness levels, from the wheel chair access trail of Lake Como to the top of Trapper Peak, over 10,000 ft. Additional activities include mountain bike rides, wildlife viewing, scenic drives to the Big Hole Valley and Crystal Park, hot spring dipping , horseback riding, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, golf and tennis.
Tour the Big Hole Battlefield, Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, Marcus Daly Mansion, Bitterroot Birding Nature Trail, Teller Wildlife Refuge, and more. Go antiquing throughout the Bitterroot, try our local beer at the Brewery, attend a concert at the Performing Arts Center, or a dramatic production by the Hamilton Players.
