Photos and Description of the Brooklin vacation cottage rental 2 Bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeps four comfortably.

Located on tidal Allan Cove about 25 feet from the water at high tide. This cozy 850 sq ft cottage sits well off the road with 158 of water frontage with no development to the right side to Harriman Point - about a 20-30 minute walk thru the woods or along the shore line. Child friendly beach from mid-incoming tide to mid-outgoing tide. Swimable during four to five hour period each tide within the cove. Warmer water than most oceanfront properties. Walk about 15 minutes along the shoreline to swim or boat at all times. Great sunsets and great place to kayak.Eat in well equipped kitchen or large enclosed 10 x 21 foot porch. The propane wall heater will relieve the morning chill. Maximum comfortable sleeping for four.

Close Call Cottage

We would highly recommend staying at Close Call. The location was great; quiet, private with seemingly unlimited oceanfront to explore all within a short driving distance from excellent restaurants. Grocery stores and gas were also very close by. Bar Harbor was less than an hour away. The cottage was clean and comfortable and it was so peaceful there you couldn't help but relax and de-stress. The kids loved the access to the ocean the cottage provided. Two weeks would have been better! Hated to leave.
