South Beach Vacation Rental condo

Just the right place to be. Close to action, but miles from the noise and congestion - if that makes any sense. The condo is beautifully appointed with high end appliances and bathroom fixtures. If you follow the owner's instructions, checking in is easy. We arrived real late, so I had some concerns. Parking could be expensive, but I found you can negotiate with the valet guys.

BEWARE of the condition of the rooftop pool. It was out of service which looked like more than seasonal maintenance. The floor of the pool was torn up and buckled like a bad section of the NJ Turnpike. This looked like a prolong repair project.

But, with this location, you can roll out of bed onto the beach, so it wasn't a deal breaker.

We stayed here for a week 23rd-30th August.
The apartment is fabulous, extremely clean and modern and very comfortable.
It has everything that you could need, although we would recommend taking clothes hangers with you as there are very few.The kitchen has all the mod cons and and is very stylish.
The bathroom is lovely, with lots of storage,towels and mini toiletteries. The shower wasnt very powerful but very large and pleasant.
The living room is ultra modern with lovely long couches to recline on. There is a large plasma screen with some cable channels but not too many. The apartment would benefit from a DVD player though.
The bedroom is lovely, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with lots of lovely fluffy pillows and a fantastic light and snuggley duvet. There wasnt too much hanging space but a very large chest of drawers which was enough for both mine and my husbands things. The only thing that we found to be a problem was that the blind in the bedroom (and living room) was made of a very think paperlike material which let all the light in, so as soon as the sun was up, so were we.

There are two balconies, one off the bedroom and the other off the living room, which would have benefitted from some table and chairs (only one old beach chair on one of the balconies).

The pool deck was lovely and very clean. There are only a few sun loungers (4) so when it got busy that was a problem, but the view is lovely and we really enjoyed spending time up there.

The common areas of the apartment block were lovely, very clean and modern.

The location is great, right on the beach, literally a 2 minute walk. There are lots of bars and restaurants and a major brand pharmacy right on your doorstep. The noise level isnt too bad, even on weekends.

Overall we had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment which is exactly as advertised. We would definitely recommend it to anyone."

There was no parking with the apartment but upon arrival we spoke with the valet at the Ocean 5 Hotel (a few doors down) and we made a deal with them to use their car park for $75 for a week, where we could come and go all day long, which was a bargain!! We spoke with the valet Alex who was lovely.
