Playa Grande is located in the province of Guanacaste on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica. We are proud to be the nesting site of the Leatherback turtle, the largest sea turtle in the world. Our beach is part of Las Baulas National Park and boasts world class surf. The estuary that separates us from Playa Tamarindo is a nature reserve and features 4 types of mangroves, crocodiles, a wide variety of birds and howler monkeys.
