The Asheville Lodge is both elegant and rustic. It features state of the art construction, dual-zone heat and air-conditioning with separate heat pumps, and wraparound decks. Enjoy our large, open living room with gas fireplace, beautiful hickory staircase and cabinetry, four bedrooms (3 with a queen bed and 1 with 3 twin beds, for a total sleeping capacity of 9 people). There is a Jacuzzi tub with 3-headed shower on the main level. We also have a standard tub/shower combination on the second floor, three commodes (one on each level), 5 washstands/vanities; two indoor dining areas plus a propane grill and outdoor dining area; plenty of books, music CDs, and videos; wireless high-speed Internet; wide-screen and standard TVs, and Satellite service with around 100 (+local) channels -- all included in the price. We are only 10 miles from downtown Asheville, yet we're serenely located on 3-1/2 quiet and private acres with fantastic 50-mile mountain views.

Guest Book: My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful, beautiful weekend in this lovely home. The Lodge was immaculate and all amenities were provided. It is an easy drive into Asheville and surrounding sights -- and what a fantastic place to come home to at the end of a day of sightseeing or hiking. We plan to go back and spend more time at the Lodge -- sitting on the deck communing with nature is sheer bliss. The views in all directions are breathtaking. We also see it as a place where we could bring children or a small group of friends. The owner made every effort to answer our questions and help us feel comfortable. This is a terrific vacation spot and an excellent value. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway, and Sightseeing
