Located 2 miles off I-75 and only 5 miles off I-10 this house on the Suwannee River is a dream come true for the owner and it can be for you too. Every effort has been taken to make this your vacation to remember. Master bedroom has king size bed, 2nd bedroom has queen size bed, and third bedroom and 2 twin beds. Kitchen is fully stocked all you need to bring is food and your toothbrush. Washer & Dryer included. Enjoy screened in patio where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area or go down to the tri-level dock where you can swim or fish. Located a half mile from the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park which hosts the Suwannee River Jam each April. For the golfer, a 9-hole public golf course, is just half a mile away. Also two miles away you will find the Hamilton Jai Alai and poker room for those interested in gaming. Enjoy romantic evenings in front of the fireplace, or cuddle on the sofa and enjoy a movie. DVD library & satellite TV provided in each bedroom.

Located in North Florida on the Suwannee River. THE RIVER HOUSE provides fantastic views of the historic Suwannee River. Nearby attractions include The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park which hosts events all year long including the famous Suwannee River Jam. Canoe rentals are also available & there is a boat ramp there where, for a nominal fee, you can launch your boat. Also close by is the Stephen Foster Memorial. If you prefer to try your luck visit the Hamilton County Jai Alai & Poker Room. Also close by there are a number of natural springs. For the kids visit Wild Adventures Amusement Park which is located 45 minutes away. There is a 9-hole golf course just a half mile away. THE RIVER HOUSE is located in Hamilton County and is 2 miles off I-75 and 5 miles off I-10.

Something for Everyone: It doesn't matter if you're a couch potato or an avid outdoor person, there is something for you to do at THE RIVER HOUSE. If you love to fish, there are a wide variety of fish waiting to outsmart you. If you prefer a more sedate stay, sit down with a good book or any number of board games provided. Satellite TV & a DVD library is provided. There are televisions in each bedroom and the living room. If you'd like to play golf, there is a public country club a half mile away. If you'd prefer to play cards, visit the Hamilton Downs Jai Alai located 2 miles away. Visit any one of a number of pristine springs in the area where cool fresh water boils out of deep caves into the Suwannee River.

Close to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park: THE RIVER HOUSE is located a half mile from the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park which is best known for its annual Suwannee River Jam each April.

We had the best time at the River House. It's very nice and clean. Looks just like the pictures except for the new aluminum catwalk at the dock which was really nice. Has a great dirt bike/4 wheeler trail just down the road. We docked our fishing boat at the private dock. It's located directly across the river from the Suwanne Music Campground beach area which had a lot of people on it for the holiday weekend. Overall: very relaxing and enjoyable.
Owner's Response: The new catwalk was a result of the April 2009 flood which destroyed the previous dock/deck. This new aluminum dock was installed just days ago. Our goal is to make our guests' stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible.

The River house was well presented, clean, and had more than enough room for both of us and 3 kids... The location is convenient enough to allow for a perfect mix of day trips, (to entertain the kids), but is also far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy lazy days sat on the sofas in front of the fire with a DVD… We feel it was this balance that made for the most relaxing 3 weeks, and exactly what the doctor ordered. One of our personal highlights would have to have been braving the cold, and getting ‘bundled up’ in blankets around the fire pit on New Years Eve, with the family tradition of grilled oysters for the adults, and smores for the kids...
This was without a doubt the best ‘New Years’ ever, and we will most definitely be back to visit again… Mj & Nj.

Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to rent the River House, we had the most amazing time for the two weeks we spent there. The house was well presented, had most everything you could want or need, and was very clean.. And as for the location, just wow! A total feeling of seclusion, but within easy reach of the local amenities, the perfect balance of relaxation versus the ability to go grab something from the store without the need for a mass expedition...We will most definitely be coming back again

The house was wonderful, a diamond set in the beautiful 'rough' that is the Suwanee River. Kitchen and living room areas were open, clean, and great for vacationing/entertaining. Bedrooms and baths were very clean, the ground level platform was excellent along with the fire pit, and river access is superb, with the white-sand beach across the river.

What a wonderfull place to spend time.This home is
decorated and supplied beautifully.Perfect setting and
very private.There are highlights close by yet you are
secluded.We felt so at home here,thanks for a great
