Great Place for a Family Get-Away

We just returned from a week at this property. It was a beautiful rental home, and aside from a few minor inconveniences, we had a fantastic experience. It was a great place for the two young kids, who were easily supervised due to the great open floor plan.
The location is very nice, although a drive is required to get to the lake (especially if you are taking kids and/or gear). The house itself is very nice and well-equipt. The minor inconveniences previously mentioned are: very low water pressure resulting in the ability to only do one thing at a time (i.e. one shower or laundry, or dishwasher), and the house heated up quickly during the day and stayed warm a long time into the night. Some form of air conditioning would go a long way here. Another minor annoyance was the gas grill. Although informed it could happen, we turned out to be the unlucky ones, and the tank was completely empty. So we had to refill it at our own expense, and we had to purchase a wire brush to clean the grilling surface.
This all sounds negative, but is not intended to! Yes, there were inconveniences, but they were easy to live with, and did not affect our enjoyment of the vacation!
Just a few added bonuses: the campfire spot was great! We spent several evenings around the fire, and it was georgous. the pool table was nice to have to add some entertainment. The wildlife was fantastic with deer and turkeys seen regularly, and we even had a close encounter with a skunk (which ended well, fortunately!).
We had a great time, and would highly recommend this rental!
One last comment I must make has nothing to do with this rental in particular. It is about Nick's Lakehouse restaurant in Lake Harmony area. We ate at this restaurant on one evening. Although the food tasted good, and the location was great, the service was terrible! We waited for over an hour for our food (with 2 babies under 2 years old)! When the food arrived much of it was cold. When we brought it to the attention of the wait staff, they reluctantly replaced some of the food, but said that we were wrong and that the food was in fact not cold! We also had one meal arrive 15 minutes after all of the other meals had arrived, and the childrens food came AFTER the adults'. We asked to speak to the manager, and were met with resistance again. The waitstaff was discourteous and nothing was done to remedy the situation. We DO NOT recommend eating at this establishment.
